We are loving these fresh new images taken in Wellington on the weekend starring Azim at Kirsty Bunny Management and styled by our very own TSD talent Brit. And shot by .
Azim is wearing the brand new Void Filler Blouse and the new Mini Pinny in Black. An absolutely superb ensemble by our Brit.
At the core of fashion imagery is the spirit of creative expression, and that has been so beautifully captured here (we think).
We heart that smile.

The Service Depot are very excited to be hosting iconic New Zealand artist and photographer Ann Shelton’s work from her collection mother lode inside the store.
The Wairarapa Eco Farm began as a pioneering initiative in Community Supported Agriculture, where individuals committed themselves for a season’s harvest. Photographer Ann Shelton was among the earliest supporters, and over 14 years, she not only enjoyed the farm’s fresh vegetables and eggs but also photographed it.
Ann’s photography goes beyond mere images of a farm. With no neat rows in sight, her work delves into broader themes such as sustainability, food security, ethics, and the portrayal of gardens throughout art history.
The even better news is that these historic and beautiful works are now available to purchase at The Service Depot. Please feel free to enjoy the works of one Aotearoa’s finest living artists.
Iris Apfel (née Iris Barrel, August 29, 1921 – March 1, 2024). Fashion icon, inspiration, prophet, philosopher, visionary, woman.
You will be missed. Go well, you brilliant hero of the sartorial universe.
RIP
The Service Depot are very proud to announce the arrival of British born, and New Zealand based artist and designer Rory William Docherty to the store. We are so pleased to have this gifted new fashion talent represented here in Wellington by TSD.
Docherty turned heads and hearts at the recent 2024 New Zealand Fashion Week and before the designs set foot on the runway, Docherty had already been named by pundits as the ‘one to watch’ in 2024.
Docherty creates seasonless pieces incorporating textiles based on his own original hand drawn and painted artworks. A unisex approach to design and sizing allows the clothes to be fluid and open to interpretation.
“I’m a hopeless romantic. I want to create something personal and new, but still beautiful, unapologetically so, relatable but not of the moment, like a lingering dream.”
Each piece is imbued with a sensitivity evoking an emotional connection: this is clothing for individuals.
Tomorrow’s to-do list: wakeup, have coffee, say something nice to someone, shop for a new NOM*D at The Service Depot, feel inspired to do something spectacular in your brand-new armour.
In store and online: the new AW24 collection ‘VISIONNAIRE’ from NOM*D.
Brand new drop now available.
We’re feeling a little Sunday inspired by Masami’s beautiful Chester Shirt in black cotton sateen. It’s one of those pieces that makes us feel so much better about going back to face the world on Monday.

Just beautiful to try on – and one size fits most.
Come see us on this beautiful Wellington day.
