There are five phases of fenestrations for the Monstera Deliciosa.

Swipe to see how they evolve!

🌱Juvenile phase: Heart shaped leaves.

🌱Side split: An increase in splits down the sides of the leaf.

🌱Primary midrib holes: an iconic Monstera leaf of side splits down both sides of the leaf and one hole between leaf veins.

🌱As your Monstera matures even more, it develops secondary and then finally tertiary midrib holes.

All these phases are equally as beautiful to me!
