🌟 Member of the Month: Jason 🌟

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Jason as our Y Member of the Month! Jason's journey is nothing short of inspiring. A regular attendee in our Friday Parkinson’s class, Jason has been overcoming immense challenges before coming to the Y which has resulted in partial loss of his eyesight.

When Jason first joined us, he relied on the support of our trainers, Debbie & David to es**rt around the circuit class and use support bars & chairs to assist with sitting and standing. But through sheer determination and the guidance of our team, Jason has steadily regained his strength! Today, he walks unassisted around the class and can confidently sit and stand on his own! His influence has allowed our Parkinsons class to expand towards patients with other conditions including brain injuries, stroke.

Jason’s progress didn’t stop there! He has since taken on cardio challenges, working closely with David to achieve incredible milestones. Whether it's walking on an incline treadmill or Cross Trainer for over 10 minutes. Jason's resilience is truly inspiring.
