We had 3 teams originally, but due to the weather the comp was brought forward a day which meant some couldn't make it. Regardless we still entered 2 teams Andrew, Jamaya, Ray and Liam went and represented Ruku Aotearoa . And by the looks of this video it was more than just a fun day, with some of the boys 1st Big Shark encounter🤣🌊

This Saturday the 2nd of March are the North Island Spearfishing Champs where we have entered 3 teams this year💯 Be sure to keep an eye or 2 out for our lives throughout the day to catch us in our new dive towels🔥. We have done a limited collaboration with OCEAN HUNTER Spearfishing & Freediving Specialists and Ruku Aotearoa to bring to you a 100% cotton heavy duty toweling with the iconic Ocean Hunter Snapper Embroidered on the back along with Ruku Aotearoa🌊

We can't wait to be apart of this awesome day with all the proceeds from all the fish shot during the comp going to auction for the Mary Potter Hospice. This years goal is to get in total of over 100k in donations for this amazing organisation. I Highly recommend these courses from OCEAN HUNTER Spearfishing & Freediving Specialists. Best part for me was definitely the safety aspect in the course. Ofcourse going from a 1.30min Static to a 4.05min Static goes to show the training they provide.
