Congratulations to the crew at Mechanic Animation for delivering the Kiwi & Cat Matariki series. For us at Mechanic its been a special project as we look to rebuild the studio after the pandemic. Big thank you to Jose, Michael and Natalie whom drove the team forward each week.

For our international followers, Matariki is the celebration of the Maori New Year which coinsides with the Matariki star cluster (also known as Pleiades in Greek mythology) rising in the New Zealand skies.

Each year Mechanic Animation contributes to the UNICEF child refugee relief by supporting KEPYR (Kids Entertainment Professionals for Young Refugees). This year made extra special where one of our artist Jose Reynaldo Lozada designed and painted up the campaign poster. Thank you Jose, great work.
