I raro i te mahau o te whare, ko Te Rākatō te tangata, ko Te Rākatō te Hapū, ko Te Rākatō te Marae. Ko tēnei te kaupapa e haere ake nei, nau piki mai, haere mai!
The UnSpoken Word Youth Forum has been successfully delivered across different regions and Marae across Aotearoa, and is now privileged to be presented by the Ngāi Te Rākato Acedemy. Supported by rangatahi from ngā hau e wha, this kaupapa will serve as perfect opportunity for participants to create positive connections with Marae, while developing their knowledge of relevant approaches that will whakapiki their mauri and well-being, furthermore creating a more positive and healthier way of being.
This kaupapa is entirely free and kai is provided for all 3 days. The event is based from Te Rākāto Marae, with the exception of a water day offered on Tuesday. All ages are welcome but as it is a rangatahi led event we do ask that under 8 years olds come with a supervisor (at least 16 years of age).
All further details can be found on the attached posters and any further pātai please direct to Soraya or Kosha-Joy. All registrations can be filled out through this link:
