This week we farewell our Secretary Abdul, who has been an incredible addition to the committee for the last couple of years.
Thank you Abdul for all that you've done for Wellington Young Professionals in the time that you've been with us. We appreciate all of your hard work, and wish you the best in your next exciting chapter! Throwback to 2022, when the committee at the time (including the fantastic Abdul) went to Toast Martinborough and had an absolute blast.

Despite having incredible weather last night here in Wellington, we still had a great turnout to our October Networking Drinks at The Arborist Rooftop Bar. We love seeing all of our regulars come along, as well as some new faces every month.
Keep a look out for our infamous WYP Christmas Party which we'll advertise within the next week. There will be prizes, games and drink deals all night so bookings will be essential!

Thank you to everyone who attended our WYP AGM & September Networking Drinks a couple of weeks ago and took part in the formalities. We farewelled a few of our great committee members (Neeraj, Harley, Karen, Liam and Janice) and Jareen was nominated as our new President! We also welcomed Jasper as our Treasurer and Georgia in Events, and Abdul will remain as Secretary with Sophie stepping down to Vice President.

Tonight we also had Creative HQ come along to present about The Innovation Hack. The Innovation Hack is a 15 week programme, built for Gen-Z. Participants will work alongside Wellington organisations to solve real problems with meaningful impact, all the while, growing their own skills and innovative capabilities. At the end of the programme, participants will have earnt Creative HQ's Certificate in Applied Innovation, and gained transferable, future focussed skills that can help them land their next job. This is a free programme, and designed to work around the demands of school or work.
