A crisp clean beauty from this weekend. If I ever was asked what sort of birthday cake I would want for myself....this is the one. Minimalistic yet divine combo of flavours on the inside.

Requested by Aimee for her husband's birthday surprise, this was a 6 inch 3 layers moist chocolate cake with our signature mamabakes style swiss meringue buttercream and finished off with a dark chocolate drip, a range of choccies and some edible silver leaf😋

On request of Mehwish for her sister-in-laws birthday ☺️ The cake was a vanilla cake with biscoff filling and finished off with our silky signature swiss meringue buttercream 😋

OKAY STOPPPP!!!!! How utterly beautiful does this cake look! And honestly I am so so so proud of it!

On request of Sonia for her baby Jordan this was a 6 inch 3 layers vanilla cake with raspberry jam filling.

Once I was done icing the blue and white I did not want to add anything further to it but I know Sonia wanted piped flowers. At one point I even typed a message to her to say let's just leave it plain with hints of gold as it looks beautiful as is but I deleted the message before I hit send and I am so glad for that🤗

Can't believe we are already at end of October 😱

You know life has gotten busy when you forget to post photos of your own kids birthday cake🙈

Every year my older one gets to choose the design and theme...infact that's how Mama Bakes came about, but that's a story for a different day. However this year because my little one was turning 5 and hence starting school it was her very special birthday and she got to decide on the theme. She came up with candlyland...surprise surprise given the number of candies she eats 🤣 and we decided to keep it as a surprise from the older one. Infact we kept teasing her until the birthday that it was 💩 themed. The torture on her face 🤣🤣

However the twist in the story my older one said we could keep the theme and colours as surprise but she would like a vanilla cake while the little one insisted on a chocolate cake. Hence the idea of 2 tiers came out with each of their flavours with their favorite colours 🥰

Pink on top was vanilla 6 inch 2 layers.
Purple on bottom was chocolate 8 inch 2 layers 💜

They both got to invite a couple of friends from school and had a blast. Also the cake was wiped out with 1 last piece left for me 😅

We are now fully booked for the next 3 weekends 🙌 I have still been getting many inquiries for these weekends so just thought I'd put it out here.

Simple and delicious. Ninja turtle cake on request of Stacey for Heavenly's 6th birthday.

Inside was an 8 inch 2 layers moist yet rich chocolate cake with swiss meringue buttercream.

Tres leches (3 milk cake)....simple looking yet an absolute flavour bomb and a favourite in my house.

Try with a simple vanilla topping -with or without fruits, rich chocolatey notes or the flavour bomb coffee...each frosting is equally delicious 😋

This one was made on request of Bilquis with a chocolate frosting and decorated with oreos

It's fair to say that this is one of my most favourite cake to date 😍😍😍 or shall I say CAKES as everything except the candle was edible 😉
