7 April 2024 - In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects and other requirements, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on Monday, 8 April 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their stations.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

"Pamulinawen"-is a popular old Ilocano folk song possibly from the pre-Spanish era. It is about a girl with a hardened heart. who does not need her lover's pleading. It is about courtship and love. The term pamulinawen translates to "alabaster", a very type of stone.

"Alitaptap"- is a Philippine Folk dance that originated from the province of Batangas, and is native to the Tagalogs. The term alitaptap refers to an insect (firefly) which flies only at night and looks like it carries a lamp. This dance mimics the movement of a firefly, in a ΒΎ time signature music, composed of A and B.

"Polka sa Nayon" (POHL-kah Sah NAH-yohn) means Polka in the Village. This dance comes from the province of Batangas in the Tagalog Region of the Philippine Islands.In the old days it was very popular and was usually danced at all the big social affairs
and at the town fiestas.

The recently concluded activity for the culmination of National Arts Month was a success.

Muntindilaw ES strongly supported the celebration of the 2024 National Arts Month with the theme: "Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain"(Harvest of the Creative Nation).

The celebration aims to arouse interest of learners in different arts discipline and highlight the skills and talents of our young learners through engaging activities and artistic performances to further hone one's confidence and presentation skills, emphasizing the role of arts and its significance to fostering national pride. The activities of the said celebration are being conducted through a contest led by MAPEH teachers headed by Sir Beneldo B. Daganio(MAPEH Coordinator) and other teachers who served as PMT, judges and coaches.

Below are the highlights of the activities being conducted during the celebration of the Arts Month.

Our Story

MUNTINDILAW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL was established on June 1993 as a complete elementary school headed by Mr. Eligio Pagkalinawan(1993-1998), Mrs. Fe Macahis(1998-2000), Mr Antonio Agcaoili(2000-2003), Mr. Tito Cabacaba(2003-2004), Mr. Alfonso Villanueva( 2004-2007), Mrs. Fely Aminoso(2007-2008), Dr. Mario Naungayan(2008-2009), Mrs. Mary Jane Halili(2009-2011), Mrs. Carolina Tapar(2011-2016), Mr. Amado Cabus(2016-2017), Mrs Luningning C. Tapales ( 2017 up to the present).

The school is situated in Falcon Street, Vista Verde Country Homes Brgy. Muntindilaw Antipolo City Rizal and has a total land area of 10,553 sq. m and 8 kilometers away from the SDO - Antipolo City.

For this school year 2020-2021, there are 1,322 enrollees from Kindergarten to Grade 6 handled by 43 competent and effective teachers and led by our very supportive principal - MRS. LUNINGNING C. TAPALES.
