ADVISORY

7 April 2024 - In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects and other requirements, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on Monday, 8 April 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their stations.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

Ang Abril ay Buwan ng Panitikang Pambansa! 📝📖

Kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ng buong bansa sa pagkilala at pagtataguyod ng iba't ibang uri ng panitikan sa bansa, lalo na sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Panitikang Pambansa ngayong taon.

May temang “Ang Panitikan at Kapayapaan,” layunin ng pagdiriwang ngayong taon na magbigay-daan sa malayang pagtalakay kung ano ang mga kahalagahan at kontribusyon ng panitikan sa pagpapanatili at pagpapalaganap ng kapayapaan sa bansa at sa mga komunidad. Sa pamamagitan nito, lalong mapagyayaman ang diskurso sa konsepto ng kapayapaan at maipararating sa mamamayang Pilipino ang papel ng panitikan sa lipunan.

Pinangungunahan ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), ang paggunita sa Buwan ng Panitikang Pambansa o National Literature Month ay alinsunod sa Proklamasyon Blg. 968, s. 2015.

The observance of Grammar Day is to encourage the use of correct grammar in both written and verbal language. According to the Global Language Monitor, the estimated number of words in the English language is 1,025,109, but it's safe to say it is over a million.

Today, let's read to learn new words, take some quizzes to test your grammar, and practice it to avoid grammatical errors.

In celebration of the National Women's Month, the NBDB will be offering 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗘𝗦 of Registration (CoR) for women, senior citizens, and persons with disability from March 01 to 31, 2024.

To avail of the free issuance, follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the NBDB Office located on the third floor of the Regalado Hive Bldg. from Mondays to Fridays, except holidays, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
2. The available NBDB Registration Officer will assist you with your transaction.
3. Wait for the issuance of Certified True Copy.
4. Sign the receiving copy and logbook for claimed certificates.

This provision is open to women, senior citizen, and PWDs with an 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗡𝗕𝗗𝗕 registration status.

May temang “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, patutunayan!” kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ng buong bansa sa pagtataguyod ng karapatan, pantay na representasyon, at patas na oportunidad para sa kababaihan.

Ang DepEd, bilang pangunahing tagapagsulong ng edukasyon sa bansa ay patuloy sa pagsusulong ng mga programa at oportunidad na kumikilala at nagpapaunlad sa kakayahan ng bawat mag-aaral, anuman ang kasarian nito.
