NOTD JOINS SIPAWAY ECO-TOURISM TOUR PACKAGE

The Sipaway Eco-Tourism Workers Association (SETWA), in coordination with the Local Government Unit of San Carlos City, launched its Sipaway Eco-Tourism Tour Package last June 19-20 2024.

In attendance were various stakeholders including the Department of Tourism Region VI, Provincial Tourism Office, as well as partners from the media.
A Welcome Dinner was hosted by the city officials headed by Mayor Renato “Rene” Gustilo, who expressed his excitement in the full implementation of this initiative.

The tour package, which has two options: eco-tourism and culinary tourism, aims to empower the people of Sipaway by providing them with a source of employment geared towards sustainable and resilient tourism.

With the tagline “Simply Sipaway”, the tour package is seen as an effective way to draw more tourist arrivals into the island, as well as to add another flavour into the already budding tourism scene of San Carlos City.

ARTEHAN Arts Festival
ARTEHAN is a play on words. As Ilonggos, we refer it to move in an artsy way. The concept of this festival i is coming from the market day of a town or a tinabuay market, which has been done even before the time of barter. The ARTEHAN ARTS FEST is a coming together of the different LGUs in the name of art, just like what we do every Panaad.

As Negrense artists, we continue to live the promise to give back the bounty to our province. Sa ARTE NEGRENSE, Abanse Negrense!
