A new dawn peeks upon the 𝗖𝗜𝗖𝗠 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗖𝗖𝗠𝗩) 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗿 as they welcomed the aspiring voices who will sing the glory of the Lord.

As musical animators of The Church, we are tasked with the mission to touch the soul of the people, make them feel the extent of the Holy Eucharist, and inspire them to preach the Lord's greatness.

May this event deepen our understanding of The Church, the organization, and the mission given to us.⚜️

As we embark on a new chapter in our journey as members of the 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅, we are reminded that this ministry is more than just a duty—it's a calling. Each of us has been chosen to contribute uniquely, bringing diverse talents and experiences that create a vibrant and dedicated community together. Today, we gather with hearts full of purpose, ready to share, grow, and serve as one.

In this orientation, we will engage in meaningful discussions and participate in icebreakers and training sessions designed to familiarize new and old members with the sacred responsibility of collection. It's a time for bonding and ensuring everyone feels confident and prepared to serve.

As the Ministry's Adviser, 𝑴𝒂'𝒂𝒎 𝑯𝒂𝒛𝒆𝒍 𝑺. God extends an open invitation, but whether we accept it depends on how we respond. It encourages reflection on our faithfulness and commitment to living out God's purpose.

As the Ministry's Adviser 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗲 𝗡. 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗼 said, "𝙢𝙖𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙜 𝙠𝙖𝙮𝙤 𝙨𝙖 𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙡𝙞 𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚". It encourages every member to stay strong and committed to their chosen service. It's about being steadfast and relying on the faith and teachings you've received while also expressing gratitude to God.

𝓜𝓞𝓐 𝓖𝓮𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓵 𝓐𝓼𝓼𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓵𝔂/𝓞𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷

On August 27, 2024, the Ministry of the Altar conducted its first General Assembly and Orientation, welcoming new aspirants to the ministry.

During the assembly, attendees were introduced to essential knowledge, including information about the priests, officers, and key individuals within the SLU parish. The assembly was graced by the presence of their esteemed adviser, Engr. Erwin Posadas, who welcomed the participants, particularly the new recruits, with inspiring words of encouragement. The atmosphere was lively, with laughter and enjoyment, as the assembly featured ice breakers designed to help members get to know each other better.

The session continued with an introduction to the various sacred vestments and vessels, along with a brief overview of the duties and responsibilities of altar servers. The program concluded with the ministry's traditional closing prayer, followed by a light snack, allowing members to refresh themselves before departing.

Today, we commemorate the Queenship of the Blessed virgin Mary, that signifies the life of Mary who is, body and soul, in heaven, having been the first one to share fully in the redemption of Christ the King.

As Christ is king of the world and saves the people from their sins, Mary is queen over the earth because of her role in the story of divine redemption, serving as mother to the Savior.

As we honor the Queenship of our mother, all together we pray:

Mother and Queen of Heaven, this day I run to you as a child with confidence and trust. You are the glorious Queen Mother, reigning over all of your children with love and mercy. Please pray for me, and bestow upon me all that I need. I open my heart to the grace of your Son, which you are entrusted to dispense. Make me holy and free from sin, so you can present me spotless and pure to your beloved Son, the King of the Universe.

Mother Mary, Queen of Heaven, pray for us.

𝙄𝘾𝙔𝙈𝙄| The CICM Campus Mission Volunteers of Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Parish commenced their inaugural Parish Consciousness Week, also recognized as Recruitment Week.

The volunteers launched this recruitment initiative with booths featuring various games, stickers, and other promotional materials designed to engage fellow Louisians. The event began at 8:00 AM on August 19 in the Silang Lobby Building at Saint Louis University. Free popcorn was also given during this time.

Recruitment in the Basic Education Schools (BEdS) and Maryheights Campus was also conducted on their respective campuses.
