The Luzon leg of the 2024 Philippine Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) Games kick off at the Cavite State University (CvSU), Indang Cavite on Sunday(July 27,2024)

𝗦𝗨𝗖 𝗜𝗜𝗜 𝗢𝗟𝗬𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗦 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | Game 1 Football match between Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) and Bulacan State University (BulSU) have been temporarily suspended after ASCOT striker Clark La Peña was injured, landing wrong on his ankle and was ran over after by BulSU opponents amidst heated first halftime, today.

A late rescue ambulance response took La Peña to the hospital almost 30 minutes after the incident happened as no rescue vehicle was nearby at the Tarlac Recreational Park.

The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) Football Team are currently next in line for the Game 2, but no announcement has been made yet if the prior Game 1 match will continue.

Mag-ingat po tayo! Wala pong gamot ang RABIES ‼️

‼️MAG-INGAT SA RABIES‼️

Ano ang maaaring gawin kapag ika'y nakagat o nakalmot ng a*o o pusa?
• Hugasan maigi ang sugat gamit ang sabon at running water. Lagyan ng "anti-septic solution" o betadine upang mabawasan ang mikrobyo.
• Magpunta kaagad sa pinaka malapit na Animal Bite Center o Baranggay Health Center upang mabigyan ng anti-rabies injection. Kahit gaano kalaki o kaliit ang nakagat/nakalmot na bahagi ay importanteng kayo ay mabigyan ng anti-rabies vaccine.
• Huwag pat*yin ang hayop at obserbahan sa loob ng dalawang linggo. Pag nam*tay ang hayop na kumagat sa loob ng dalawang linggo ay ipagbigay alam sa lokal na pamahalaan.

Para sa mga may alagang pusa o a*o:
• Maging responsableng pet owners at huwag hayaan na gumala ang alaga sa lansangan dahil maaari silang mahawaan ng rabies virus kapag sila rin ay nakagat ng mga a*o/pusang gala.
• Pakainin ng malinis na pagkain at paliguan ang inyong mga alaga.
• Pabakunahan ng anti-rabies ang inyong alaga taun-taon. Ang pusa o a*o ay maaari ng pabakuhan sa edad na three months.

Bakit kailangan pa din magpa-bakuna kahit nakalmot lamang?
• Ang kamay ng a*o o pusa ay madalas nilang dilaan at ito'y nalalagyan nila ng kanilang laway na siyang pinagmumulan ng rabies virus.

Mga sintomas:
• Halos kapareho ng may trangka*o ang mga unang sintomas ng rabies tulad ng lagnat, pananakit ng ulo, panghihina, pagsakit at pagkati ng sugat.
• Habang lumalala ang rabies infection sa katawan ay makakaranas ng delirium, hallucinations, insomnia, abnormal na pag-uugali, labis na paglalaway, hydrophobia(takot sa tubig), photobia(takot sa liwanag) at aerophobia(fear of fresh air).

TANDAAN: Ang rabies ay naka-mam*tay. Ito ay irreversible o mahirap ng gamutin kapag nakaranas na ng kahit anong sintomas dahil ang ibig sabihin ay nag progress na ang virus. Kapag ito'y umakyat na sa utak, ang taong infected ay makakaranas ng cardio-respiratory arrest.

MAG-INGAT PO TAYONG LAHAT! LALO NA ANG MGA BATANG HINDI PA MARUNONG MAGSUMBONG O MAGSALITA, INGATAN PO NATIN SILA. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.

The faculty, staff, and students from different academic schools and offices of Aurora State College of Technology actively participated in the OPLAN DAKILA: Dugong Alay sa Kababayan, Ika'y Laging Aalalayan, Community-Based Blood Donation activity.

This commendable initiative aimed to support the local community by providing essential blood donations to those in need. Organized through collaborative efforts by the Department of Health (DOH), the Provincial Health Office of Aurora, Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT), and the Health Services Unit - ASCOT, the event took place on March 20, 2024, at ASCOT Zabali, Baler, Aurora.
