Biñan Elementary School's incoming and outgoing youth leaders attended the Division Youth Formation event earlier. Outgoing YF presidents, Yesha Gaile Galicia (SELG), Prince Ejy Escuvania (RCYC), and Jacob Ama (YES-O) presented the accomplishments for S.Y. 2023-2024. They also received their certificates as part of the Division Federated Organizations this school year.

On the other hand, incoming YF presidents, Sophia Marie Cuevas (SELG), Arthur Jane Altejos (YES-O), and Bianca Marfil (BKD) participated in the Division Federated Elections. Altejos and Marfil won the Treasurer position for DFYES-O and DFBKD respectively, while Cuevas became part of DFSELG as one of the Board Members.

Biñan Elementary School's youth-leaders, together with RCYC Adviser, Ma'am Lea Aggalut-Pamittan and DRRM Coordinator, Sir Juliano Abaño attended the Division-Wide Clustered Training for Red Cross MAAB members yesterday at the Alonte Sports Arena.

The proclamation of SELG winners was done yesterday, May 15, 2024. The announcement was presided over by the Biñan ES LG COMEA, Ma'am Catherine Nogueras, Ma'am Milky R. Fuentes, Ma'am Marife Agripa, Ma'am Lanie Ramirez, Ma'am Mary Grace Magulta, Sir Ronie Bolabog, which was led by the Chief Commissioner, Ma'am Pilar I. de Castro. Congratulations to all the winners!🥳

FYI❗Suspension of Face-to-face classes

In order for our teachers and students to adjust and in anticipation of heat index of more than 40 degrees centigrade, Face-to-Face classes in all level, public and private schools are SUSPENDED from April 25, 2024 (Thursday) to April 27, 2024 (Saturday)

Alternative Delivery Mode of Classes is encouraged. - Mayor Arman Dimaguila City Mayor

ADVISORY

In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects, and other requirements as the end of school year is fast-approaching, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 15-16, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

🌿GO, GROW, GREENS!🌿

In line with Women's Month Celebration 2024, the SELG and YES-O officers, together with Mr. Albert Algodon, planted fruits and vegetables to purple empty water containers. The water containers were donated by the Grade 3-6 learners of Biñan ES. Youth leaders painted the containers last March 19, the same date where Mr. Algodon had introduced them how to plant the seedlings. On March 22, they planted eggplant, tomatoes, chili, and okra.

This project produced 255 purple pots with the above mentioned plants which will then be put around the school garden in front of the Grade 5 building. These plants will serve as a reminder for the call of gender equality and the celebration of women's exceptional contribution to society.♀️💜

Maligayang Araw ng Puso!❤️‍🔥

Pinangunahan ng SELG at YES-O officers ang pagdiriwang ng Valentine's Day kaninang umaga sa Biñan ES. Napaindak ang mga mag-aaral sa tugtog na, "Kapag Tumibok ang Puso", sa zumba dancercise ng SELG. Pagkatapos ng zumba, namigay ang mga YES-O officers ng flower lollipop at SELG ng candies at chocolates. Ang ibang mag-aaral naman ay ibinigay ang kanilang gifts at flowers sa kanilang mga g**o.

Tandaan, ang araw ng mga puso ay hindi lamang para sa mga magkasintahan, ito rin ay para ipagdiwang ang pagmamahal para sa mga g**o, magulang, kamag-anak, o kaibigan. Happy Valentine's Day sa lahat!💝💐🍫

🚨SELG NEW PROJECT🚨
ZumBES: Indak for a Healthier Life💪🏻

Supreme Elementary Learner Government started the Zumba Dance exercise project last Monday, February 5, 2024, after the flag raising ceremony. SELG officers, Juliean Sablay, Elly Exequiel Precioso, and Jhayrone Galan, led the Zumba dancercise for Biñan ES learners, teachers, administrators, and parents.

The learners and parents enjoyed the Zumba dance including SDO Biñan City's Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Arlene S. Ricasata, who danced energetically to the tune of "Sabay Sabay Tayo." This activity will be conducted every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. 💃🏻

🚨SELG's Reading Helpers in English🚨

This project aims to:
📖 Raise the reading level of the selected intermediate learners from Frustration to Instructional/ Independent
📖 Equip learners with necessary reading materials
📖 Promote literacy in English through peer tutoring

The project started last Monday, November 13, and will run until April 2024.

SELG performed a Storytelling Activity where they acted and narrated two stories for National Reading Month. This was held earlier, after the flag raising ceremony.
