Today is competition day. You can just imagine how fast days are over. Most especially if you are rushing to finish something or you are in competition. But deadline or not it is nice to learn that it is not the strongest or the smartest or the fastest who always wins but it is the one who never gives up.

Keep in mind that a champion is the one who gets up when he cannot. History has demonstrated that the most notable winner usually encountered so much hindrances, so much hardships and heartbreaking obstacles before they win or shall we say triumphed.

They won not because of luck but because they refused to be discouraged by their defeats. They believe that if you want to succeed, you do not have to compete. Why? It is because they realized that once you decide they are worthy of competing with, they have already won.

Have a Happy and Competitive Thursday. May positive things continue to happen in our journey. And we may always take the opportunity to encourage and inspire others to succeed despite all odds.

Today, we celebrate the importance of water in our lives and the need to protect this precious resource. Water sustains, nourishes, and enables us to thrive, but it also faced increasing challenges due to climate change, pollution, and unsustainable practices.

As we continue to grow as a global community, it is our responsibility to take action to conserve and protect water. This includes reducing water consumption, investing in water infrastructure, promoting sustainable agriculture, and protecting natural water sources.

Let's also take a moment to acknowledge the millions of people worldwide who still lack access to clean water. This is a basic human right that should be available to everyone. By supporting organizations that provide access to clean water and sanitation, we can help ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

Join us in taking action on this World Water Day and beyond. Let's work together to build a more sustainable future for ourselves and future generations.

Hence, the CSU League of Campus Organizations (LCO) continues to give free services to CSU students by giving away free bookmarks and stickers tomorrow in front of the CSU Administration Building from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

CONGRATULATIONS WINNERS

CMNS Pyro Hunters emerged as the champion in Sangka 2023 Taekwondo Competition men’s category held at CSU Admin Conference Hall, March 7.

After a fierce fight, the Hunters managed to outmatch the CAA Hydro Knights and CoFES Dendro Sentinels as they clinched the 1st runner-up spot in the tournament.

CEd Anemo Mages dominated the women’s category bagging the championship title in Sangka 2023 Taekwondo Competition at CSU Admin Conference Hall, March 7, Tuesday afternoon.

Despite a good fight, the Geo Vanguard taekwondo jins failed to secure the spot and held on as the first runners-up in the said tournament.

Sangka 2023 has come and gone, but the memories of this year's annual intramurals will stay with us for a long time. The competition was fierce, and the energy was electric as different colleges within our university battled it out for the glory.

Purok 1 displayed an outstanding performance as they asserted dominance on the recently held LCO Laro ng Lahi Sack Race Competition at CSU Oval.

Amidst a muddy terrain, the team in blue flexed their superiority as they managed to showcase an exhibition performance catching the viewers' praise & chants through their consistency, team-chants, and coordination taking over the competition against seven other puroks.

Purok 1 managed to pull through early scares during their bouts against Purok 8 and Purok 3 as they surprised them with a sudden aggressive run during midway taking over the white.

On the other hand, Purok 6 attempted for a come-from-behind win with their aggressive hops to steal Purok 1's slot for victory, yet they fell short when one of their players failed to reach the finishing line before the switch.

Purok in blue reigned the competition with style as their final member managed to capture the audience with a slow sideways hop to take-away the victory.

Other puroks also attempted to chase victory during the early matches against Purok 1 and Purok 6 however, their hopes were sealed due to disqualifications.
