Congratulations to our Philippine Men's Wheelchair Basketball team for qualifying to the Asian Paragames 2023 in Hangzhou, China!

Our wheelchair basketball athletes qualified by winning the bronze medal at the IWBF Asia Oceania Zone Wheelchair Basketball Championships 2023 held in held in Suphan Buri, Thailand.

The RGADC-X is hosting a GAD Photo Contest!

1. The contest is open to all Region X local government units, regional line agencies, state universities and colleges, non-government agencies and organizations, and private offices.

2. Each entry must be an original work of the agency/organization; only one entry per agency/organization is allowed.

3. The photo entry must espouse the 2023-2028 NWMC Theme: WE for gender equality and inclusive society.

4. The photo must include a brief narrative description.

5. Photo resolution should at least be 2048x2048 pixels.

6. Each agency/office must submit its registration form together with the entry via email to [email protected].

7. The deadline for the submission of entries is on 20 March 2023.

Melagros Maquiling, the current DAWN President, attended this meeting via online being a Private Sector Representative (PSR) to the Regional Development Council (RDC) and Vice-Chair of the Social Development Committee (SDC).

Manifested to this committee the Persons with Disability sector's appreciation for establishing statutory funds for Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens and other vulnerable sectors.
