𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 1PHINMA Youth Leadership Camp

Our COC-CSG President, Ms. Lovely Mae Cabodbod, along with our Adviser, Ms. Airine Galamgam, recently took part in the 1PHINMA IProject Youth Leadership Camp held from August 16-19, 2024, at CCT, Tagaytay.

This remarkable experience allowed them to connect with fellow youth leaders, exchange innovative ideas, and develop their leadership skills. They are eager to share the insights they gained with the student leaders of PHINMA COC!

Another inspiring and enjoyable leadership camp has concluded!

A total of 184 individuals participated in the 1PHINMA Youth Leadership Camp, which took place from August 17 to 19, 2024, in Tagaytay, Cavite. The attendees included 117 PHINMA National Scholarship (PNS) scholars, 21 young leaders and educators from PHINMA Education schools, 12 alumni volunteer facilitators, 19 mentors, and 15 PHINMA Foundation guests.

This year's program, named "iProject," delved deep into PHINMA's core value of integrity. 🎉

A notable moment during the camp was a panel discussion featuring esteemed speakers: Sabrina Ongkiko, a teacher at Culiat Elementary School and a recipient of The Outstanding Women in the Nation's Service award in 2016, Jervis Manahan, a respected journalist from ABS-CBN News, and Atty. Alex Cabrera, the chairman of Integrity Initiative, Inc. Additionally, Atty. Chel Diokno made a surprise appearance on the second day to provide inspiration and motivation to all participants.

The three-day camp concluded with all youth leaders making a commitment to uphold integrity, even in the face of challenges posed by the evolving landscape of society.

At the 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐌𝐀 Ed Student Leaders Forum, recently conducted by the 5th 𝑷𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑴𝑨 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑺𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕 (𝑷𝑺𝑳𝑺) delegates in partnership with student councils across the PHINMA school network, we saw the Student Body Organization (SBO) governors and vice governors, alongside PHINMA COC CSG officers, take center stage. Guided by the CSDL and PSLS delegates, these student leaders engaged in meaningful discussions aimed at enhancing leadership skills, boosting student engagement, and addressing key campus issues.

The forum served as a powerful platform for sharing the 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐌𝐀 Ed Student Leaders' manifesto, which encapsulates the collective vision of fostering a more inclusive and thriving school community. More than just a dialogue, it was a call to action for every PHINMA Ed student leader to contribute towards making a positive impact in the lives of others.

𝘾𝘼𝙇𝙇 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝘿𝙊𝙉𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎

The recent fires have severely impacted families in our community, leaving them without basic necessities and facing significant challenges.

Let's come together to provide immediate assistance and help these students recover and rebuild their lives. Your support can make a huge difference in their time of need.

The tradition of the RED MASS started with Pope Innocent IV in 1243 for the Ecclesial Judicial Court, asking the invocation of the Holy Spirit as a source of wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, and strength for the coming term of the court.

It has also been a tradition in PHINMA COC to start the school year with RED MASS (Holy Spirit Mass and Ecumenical Prayer) to implore Wisdom and Guidance throughout the school year.
