Nothing can take the place of actual clinical examination where Dentistry is concerned. Dental treatment is tailored to your individual needs. It is not like auto repair or spare parts where you can canvas the price. You are a living being, not a machine.

Many times, what the patient describes over the phone, is different from what we actually see and diagnose. Underlying problems that patients don't see can change the treatment plan.

Teleconsult is just a guessing game, just a 'band-aid treatment ', and not for long term management of the problem.

Clinical examination is essential to any dental consultation. This is enhanced by other diagnostics like x-rays, etc, and not the other way around.

It is very common for patients to assume about their dental needs and ask for an estimate (online) for this or that procedure. We dentists do not want to assume (ASSUME = making an ASS of U and ME). We aim to give you the best treatment plan for your case.

Therefore, we refrain from giving any comments/diagnosis/estimates/costs/treatment plans without first seeing the patient. We hope all patients understand why we insist on clinical examination first.
