Father in heaven, you have given me a mind to know you, a will to serve you, and a heart to love you. Give me today the grace and strength to embrace your holy will and fill my heart with your love that all my intentions and actions may be pleasing to you. Give me the grace to be charitable in thought, kind in deed, and loving in speech towards all.

Lord Jesus, give me a lively faith, a firm hope, a fervent charity, and a great love for you. Take from me all lukewarmness in meditating on your word, and dullness in prayer. Give me fervor and delight in thinking of you and your grace. Fill my heart with compassion for others, especially those in need, that I may respond with generosity.

Ama naming Makapangyarihan, Maylikha ng langit at lupa, noong Iyong ipinagkaloob sa amin ang Iyong Bugtong na Anak na si Hesukristo upang maging aming Manunubos, niloob Mong ipagkatiwala Siya sa ilalim ng pangangalaga ni San Jose bilang Kanyang ama dito sa lupa.

Hinihiling naming Inyo pong basbasan ang lahat ng mga ama. Pagkalooban mo po sila ng lakas buhat sa Iyong Banal na Espiritu; upang kanilang mahalin ng may katapatan at pagmamahal ang kanilang asawa; upang kanilang maitaguyod ng may pagtitiyaga ang kanilang mga pamilya; at upang sila ay maging huwaran ng mabuting pamumuhay bilang mga Kristiyano.

Aming ding inaala-ala ang lahat ng mga amang naghahanap-buhay upang kanilang matustusan ang mga pang-araw-araw ng pangangailangan ng kanilang pamilya. Sto. Nin̈o de Congreso Parish gratefully greets our parish priest, Rev. Fr. Job O. Callarackal, MS as he celebrates his 36th Sacerdotal Anniversary today.

As we celebrate this milestone, let us lift our hearts in prayer, asking for God's abundant blessings upon Fr. Job. May the years ahead be filled with continued success, abundant blessings, and the grace to touch more lives with his unwavering faith and compassion. May his ministry and priestly vocation continue to flourish, bringing spiritual nourishment to our community and beyond. May God give him every grace and blessing on this very special occasion as he continues to serve Him and the church.

"You are a priest forever in the line of Melchizedek." (Heb. 5:6).

"Si Satanas ay nandiyan sa tabi-tabi natin kaya mag-ingat tayo. The absence of God is the presence of the devil. So, kailangan nating magdasal palagi, kailangan nating magnilay, magbasa ng Bibliya, at tayo’y maging alert palagi kasi may labanan, di ba? There’s a battle between good and evil, matira ang matibay.

Tayo ay sumunod at tumupad sa utos ng Diyos, na nakasentro sa 10 commandments at sinummarize ni Jesus sa dalawa: love of God and love of neighbor. And if we follow, and we obey, and we practice these commandments, we are brothers and sisters of Jesus.

So, mahalaga ito sa atin na we have to maintain good relations, maintain unity and love. ‘Yon ang hamon sa atin ngayon. Dahil nasisira ang samahan ng pamilya, ng bansa, ng mga grupo kung may mga alitan at awayan. The world is full of troubles and wars because of that. So, we need Jesus to heal, to guide us, and to protect us.

Mga kapatid, harinawa pagsikapan natin na tayo ay makaiwas sa demonyo. Ano bang trabaho ni Satanas? He is present everywhere. Siya ay sinungaling, mandaraya, sumisira, at pumapatay, at ito ay mga trademark ng mga kampon ng demonyo and you have to be aware of that. We have to preserve our families hindi lamang by blood relationship at by law, but especially by the spirit. As Christians, we are called to join Jesus in heaven.

Ika nga ni Saint Paul, ‘I trust in Jesus even when I’m weak, but my spirit is strong because of my belief in Jesus’. So, panghawakan natin ‘yon. Sana katulad ni St. Paul, maging matatag tayo. Sana maging maingat din tayo, magbantay palagi, magdasal kasi ang demonyo ay nandiyan lang sa tabi-tabi natin. Huwag tayong papatalo. Ang mga anak ng Diyos ay matatapang, matatalino, mayayaman, at nagwawagi sa laban."

May I be no man's enemy, and may I be the friend of that which is eternal and abides. May I never quarrel with those nearest me: and if I do, may I be reconciled quickly. May I love, seek, and attain only that which is good. May I wish for all men's happiness and envy none. May I never rejoice in the ill-fortune of one who has wronged me.
