As this month of June ends:

let us remember that, SIN is to be mourned over, not celebrated.
The mindset behind pride month is immoral;
arrogant-bragging about immorality is the kind of "pride" that leads to God's judgement.

As it is written ,
"That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have s*x and instead indulged in s*x with each other. And the men, instead of having normal s*xual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved."
- Romans 1:26-27

"Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall."

In the end, it is God as the judge, not the wordly-defined love, will win.

Isang araw ng pagkakaisa at saya! ✨

Sa pagtutulungan, tayo ay nagiging mas malakas at mas matibay. Ayon sa 1 Corinto 1:10, 'Nananawagan ako sa inyo, mga kapatid, sa pangalan ng ating Panginoong Jesu-Cristo, na kayong lahat ay magkaisa sa inyong sinasabi upang walang pagkakahati-hati sa inyo, kundi maging lubos ang pagkakaisa ng inyong pag-iisip at layunin.'

Napakasaya ng natapos na team building activities! Puno ng tawanan, laro, at bagong kaalaman na nagpatibay sa ating pagkakaisa bilang isang pamilya sa pananampalataya. Mula sa mga team games hanggang sa mga kwentuhan, bawat isa ay nagkaroon ng pagkakataong magbahagi at magpatibay ng relasyon.

We witnessed the beautiful transformation of lives as our brothers and sisters publicly declared their faith in Jesus Christ through the water baptism. We, in DFC-NC, are very happy in this powerful step of obedience and commitment to our Savior!

Sikapin mong tibayan ang loob at yakapin ang sarili mong paglalakbay. Huwag mong sayangin ang iyong oras at tumakbo ka sa tamang patutunguhan.

'Hindi ako tumatakbo nang walang patutunguhan at hindi ako sumusuntok sa hangin.' - 1 Corinto 9:26

Ang buhay ay hindi karera, kaya gawin mo ang mga bagay ayon sa oras at kakayahang ibinigay sa iyo ng Diyos. Huwag mong madaliin, huwag mo ring bagalan, magtiwala ka sa perpektong plano ng Diyos habang gumagawa.

Huwag ikumpara ang sarili sa iba, sapagkat may natatanging plano ang Panginoon para sa iyo. Manatiling matiyaga at tapat, na nalalaman na ang bawat pagsusumikap natin para sa Panginoon ay hindi mawawalan ng kabuluhan.

Daily difficulties can put our faith in God to the test. Our faith can be stolen by worry and fear. Even if it may seem uncertain today and concern is taking up too much space in your thoughts and emotions, bear in mind that God is already present in every tomorrow.

God reassures us that He has a plan and that He understands our path. Always remember that we can have faith that God's plan is best for us. 😉

Patuloy nating pasalamatan at bigyan ng pagpupugay ang mga taong ginamit ng Diyos upang makamit natin ang ating kalayaan.

Tulad ng ating paglaya sa kasalanan na siyang umalipin sa'tin sa mahabang panahon sa pamamagitan ni Cristo-Hesus na ating Panginoon, atin itong ipagdiwang.

Marami pa tayong dapat gawin upang tunay na lumaya ang ating bansa, patuloy tayong mamuhay nang tapat at may pag-ibig sa Diyos at sa Bayan.

Muli mga kababayan, Maligayang araw ng Kalayaan!

Family is the basic unit of the society, it is a gift from God. He designed both marriage and family for our benefit.

And today, it is the most attacked unit in the society since the enemy, satan, knew the value of family; how it is the fabric of a good society and a solid foundation of vibrant growing assemblies.

The scripture, in Ephesians 6:1-4, reminds each member of the family:
[1] Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. [2] “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— [3] “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” [4] Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

Sons and daughters, let us maximize our time with our parents while they are still there.

Parents, teach your children in the ways of the Lord.

Family is important in God's eyes.
Let us love and treasure one another, for this is the will of God.

Ang pagsama ng Diyos sa kanyang mga hinirang ay tunay; ito'y hindi kailanman mapasusubalian.

Maging kalaban mo man ang mundo, wala kang katatakutan. Kung kakampi mo ang Diyos na maylalang nito.

Ang maaari nalang nating maitanong,

"Kung ang Diyos ay kakampi natin, sino ang laban sa atin?"

"The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel." - Proverbs 12:10

The scripture expresses a clear priority for human life over animal life, yet, animals are part of God's creation and we, Christians, needs to show proper and humane treatment to them.

Animal cruelty or mistreatment has no place in the lives of Christians.

As a celebration of the Endangered Species Day, let us remember that every effort we make in conserving habitats, reducing pollution, and supporting wildlife protection can help ensure these beautiful creatures thrive.

Rise up and together we can make a difference.

Sa panahon ng mga pagsubok at kapaguran, madali tayong mawalan ng pag-asa.

Ngunit, ipinapaalala sa atin na ang bawat pagsisikap at kabutihang ginagawa natin ay may kalakip na magandang bunga sa hinaharap.

Sinasabi sa salita ng Diyos,
"Huwag tayong magsasawa sa pag-gawa ng mabuti, dahil sa tamang panahon matatanggap natin ang ating gantimpala."

Ito ay isang paalala na dapat makita ang anino ni Kristo sa ating pag-iisip, pananalita, at pag-gawa.

Hindi natin kailangang magpakitang-tao, bagkus, palaging gawin ang tama, mabuti, at nararapat dahil ito ay nakikita ng ating Panginoon.

Tandaan natin, ang bawat pagtatanim ng mabubuting gawa ay may nakalaang panahon ng pag-aani.

Hindi man ito makikita sa pisikal at materyal na paraan ngunit darating ang panahong ng gantimpala ng ating paglilingkod.

Let us be reminded to work diligently as unto the Lord rather than for human recognition. Each task, no matter how small or grand, holds significance in the eyes of the Divine. Let our efforts be fueled by passion and dedication, knowing that our work contributes to a greater purpose beyond ourselves.

May this Labor Day be a reminder to find joy and fulfillment in our work, knowing that ultimately, we serve a higher calling.

“While all the people were listening, Jesus said to his disciples, 'Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely.'” - Luke 20:45-47

Jesus warns us the same way He warned His people. Those who put themselves and think that they are greater than others and to God, just because of their roles, will be the ones punished as they have not put God above their works.

Our dear brethrens, let us be wise when we encounter these types of people. We shall give respect to them, but not tolerate their actions. Instead, guide them to the path of righteousness, which was based from the teachings of the Lord.

1. Ang Panginoong Hesus bago siya makaranas ng pisikal na paghihirap ay nakaranas din paghihirap ng kanyang kalooban dahil sa mga magaganap sa kanya.
- v. 33b "balisang-balisa at nababahala si Hesus"
- v. 34. "Para akong mamamatay sa Kalungkutan"
- v. 36a "Ama, magagawa niyo ang lahat ng bagay, kung maaari ay ilayo niyo sa akin ang mga paghihirap na darating.

• Lucas 22:44 - "Dahil sa paghihirap ng kanyang kalooban, lalo siyang nanalangin nang taimtin at ang pawis niya ay parang dugo na tumutulo sa lupa."

2. Sa panahon ng kahirapan ng Panginoong Hesus siya ay patuloy na dumulog at nanalangin sa Ama.
- v. 38 - "Magpuyat kayo at manalangin, para hindi kayo madaig ng tukso. Ang Espiritu ay handang sumunod ngunit mahina ang laman."

3. Ang Diyos Ama ang siyang nagpalakas sa Panginoong Hesus.

• Lucas 22:43 - "Nagpakita sa kanya ang isang anghel mula sa langit at pinalakas siya."

4. Ang Panginoong Hesus, sa kanyang likas na kalagayan ay naging masunurin sa Ama, hanggang sa kanyang kamatayan sa Krus.

Nasaksihan natin ang kababaang-loob ng Panginoon sa Gethsemane. Dito, tayo'y tinuturuan na sa oras ng pagsubok at pangamba, ang pananalig at panalangin sa Diyos ay napakahalaga. Ang pagsunod sa kalooban ng Ama ay nagtuturo sa atin ng pagtitiwala sa Kaniya, na kahit sa gitna ng matinding pasakit at kahirapan, ang pag-asa ay matatagpuan sa Diyos.

II. Ano ang pinakamagandang halimbawa na ibinigay ng Panginoong Hesus?
Bagaman hindi niya gusto ang mga magaganap sa kanya, sinunod parin niya ang kalooban ng Diyos.

- v. 36b - "Hindi ang kalooban ko ang masunod kundi ang kalooban niyo."

Karagdagang impormasyon sa lent season:

Mali ba ang mga nakikita natin tuwing holy week na ginagawa ng ating mga kababayan? Ano ba ang dapat nating gawin?

1. Ang pag-aayuno, pag-pepenitensya, o pagsasakrispisyo during Lent o Holy week upang makahingi ng pabor, biyaya o pagpapatawad sa Diyos ay isang malaking kamalian. Hindi ito tama at hindi ito ginagawa. Sapagkat ang biyaya, kaligtasan, at kapatawaran ng Diyos ay libre. Hindi mo na ito kailangang bayaran dahil ito ay bayad na.
• Sino ang nagbayad? - Walang iba kundi ang Panginoon Hesus doon sa Krus ng Kalbaryo.

2. Ang Pag-aayuno/fasting ay isang mabuting bagay. Ngunit ito ay dapat ginagawa nang palihim (Matthew 6:16-18).

3. Ang pagsisisi sa kasalanan ay hindi lamang tuwing Lent Season. Ito ay dapat gawin araw-araw.

As Isaiah 43:18-19 reminds us, ‘Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.’

Let your past be a testament to your strength, a reminder of your perseverance, and hope for the future.

So if you're feeling burdened by your past, take heart! Your past doesn’t disqualify you; it prepares you for the greatness ahead. Every challenge, every setback, every triumph has shaped you into the resilient individual you are today.

As you step into the future, remember that God is with you, guiding you and making all things new. Trust in His promises, embrace His grace, and move forward with confidence, knowing that your past is not a roadblock but a pathway to greater blessings. ❤

MGA MAHAHALAGANG PAALALA:

1. Palaging manatili sa presensya ng Diyos;
2. Patuloy na kilalanin ang Diyos sa pamamagitan ng pagbulay-bulay sa kanyang mga salita;
3. Magtiwala na kumikilos ang Diyos sa mga paraang hindi natin nalalaman;

Nang sa gayon, tayong mga anak Niya ay makakaasa sa pagsama at pagpapalakas sa bawat pagsubok ng ating buhay.

Diving deep into the realms of love, we embarked on an exhilarating journey to decipher the various shades of affection and love, and understanding who God truly is.

Through dynamic discussions and interactive activities, the youths uncovered the beauty of selfless love, friendship bonds, and divine affection, all rooted in the powerful message of 1 John 4:19, "We love because He first loved us."

With laughter, learning, and love in abundance, they embraced the essence of youth community while discovering our unique connections to the ultimate source of love. ♥️

Let's carry the flame of love ignited within us from this fellowship and spread its warmth to everyone that we encounter. Together, let's continue to grow in love and faith, knowing that God's love for us is the ultimate guide in our journey ahead.
