4. Pneumococcal Polyvalent Vaccination -alang sa Senior Citizen 60 years old nga Wala pa kasuway makadawat ani nga bakuna.
5. Mental Health Awareness and Services -alang sa tanan 18 years old pataas
6. Breastfeeding Awareness - alang sa 18- 49 years old nga Nanay ug Tatay.
7. HIV Counseling and Testing - Alang sa Pregnant women, may kasinatian sa sakit nga Sexually Transmitted Infections, MSM, Transgender.
8. Nutrition Counseling - alang sa tanan 18 years old pa taas

ICYMI: PH HEALTH CHIEF UNDERPINS INCREASED FUNDING IN VACCINES TO STRENGTHEN HEALTH SYSTEMS, PROTECTION AGAINST PREVENTABLE DISEASES

The Department of Health (DOH), through Secretary Teodoro J. Herbosa, discussed the importance of increasing national health budgets and promoting increased domestic contributions to routine immunization to address health security in ASEAN member states during the ASEAN-Gavi Alliance Joint High Level Side Event: Successes and Challenges in Reaching Every Child with Immunization held at the *16th ASEAN Health Ministers' Meeting* in Vientiane, Lao PDR on August 07, 2024.

During his speech, Secretary Herbosa pointed out that preventing the spread of infectious diseases and stopping outbreaks through immunization efforts can lead to the addressing of health disparities and the promotion of equity. These can secure the health of the country towards taking significant steps toward achieving economic productivity, sustainable development, and overall stability.

Present in the engagement were Dr. Kenneth Ronquillo (Undersecretary of the Department of Health, Philippines), Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar (Minister of Health, Brunei Darussalam), Prof. Chheang Ra (Minister of Health, Kingdom of Cambodia), Mr. Budi G. Sadikin (Minister of Health, Republic of Indonesia), Datuk Seri Dr. Haji Dzulkefly Ahmad (Minister of Health, Malaysia), Dr. Thet Khaing Win (Union Minister of Health, The Republic of the Union of Myanmar), Mr. Ong Ye Kung (Minister for Health, Republic of Singapore), Dr. Cholnan Srikaew (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health Kingdom of Thailand), Mr. Dao Hong Lan (Minister of Health, Socialist Republic of Viet Nam), and Dr Sania Nishtar, CEO of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.

"I urge everyone to continue in our commitment to immunization. Let us leverage our collective strengths and resources to address the barriers that impede access to vaccines. Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women globally. It is also one of the most preventable and treatable types of cancer. It is caused by persistent infection with the human papillomavirus (HPV). Prophylactic vaccination against HPV and screening and treatment of pre-cancer lesions are effective strategies to prevent cervical cancer and are very cost-effective.

Things to remember:
• Being vaccinated at age 9–14 years is a highly effective way to prevent HPV infection, cervical cancer and other HPV-related cancers.
• Screening from the age of 30 (25 years in women living with HIV) can detect cervical disease, which when treated, also prevents cervical cancer.
• At any age with symptoms or concerns, early detection followed by prompt quality treatment can cure cervical cancer.
