This re-imagined Spanish restaurant nestled in the middle of a garden hotel that emanates a cozy, airy, earthy vibe offers the guests a fresh respite from the city whilst enjoying exceptional Spanish culinary flavors with friends and family.

Terraza is all about quiet and traditional luxury. The Atelier has designed a space well-fitting for its exceptional quality of food; wrapped with layered neutrals with a pop of pale greens, aged wood, intricate wood carving, textured walls to mimic mactan stone, machuca tiles, solihiya weaving, patterned ceilings and warm terracotta tones.

📍Terraza by Montebello at Montebello Hotel, Cebu

Just like Brutalism, QC Pavilion needs no introduction; built in the 80s and reaching its peak from the 90s to the 00s, it stands as a historical landmark in the heart of Cebu.

The goal of the project is to create a more inviting and efficient public realm for one of the most prominent buildings in the city—not so much by changing the existing building, but accentuating its significant features, and adapting it to the changing times.

Through a renewed lighting scheme and the incorporation of pops of color that pay homage to the past, the recharacterization of the entire building aims to transform both its physical and emotional presence. This approach not only revitalizes the building's aesthetic appeal but also strengthens its historical significance, creating a more vibrant and engaging environment in the heart of Cebu.

We’ve seen many restaurants sporting an eco-chic, resort-inspired interiors in El Nido.

Aubrie’s, a vegetarian-based f&b brunch concept, was made to stand out from the fold with its playful, perky, tropical- japandi interiors. Set against an old retro-fitted building with a lovely view of Palawan’s pristine beaches, Aubrie’s bravely uses a soft iconic pink hue against moss green accents and birchwood as it seeks to invoke a bright and sunny environment, prepping you up for a healthy, happy start to your day in the island.

To create a space that’s fun and safe for children while giving the moms a cozy nook to be productive or even rest awhile; this was the mission of three mom doctors.

The Atelier strategically planned Happy Play Café to pack a lot of fun in 70 sqm of space: a mini café with a 16-seater capacity, a pretend- play corner featuring three different experiences, a reading and learning corner, and active play corner complete with an obstacle, a giant slide and foam pit.

Taking its cues from nature, Happy Play Cafe is a dreamy, Montessori- lead sanctuary for both moms and kids alike.

Hidden in one of Cebu’s only garden hotel is this 500-sqm Chinese restaurant. Unlike most Chinese restaurants, Liu Dynasty is serene, tranquil, airy, and invigorating. Liu envokes Chinese motifs and techniques like chinoiserie hand-blocked fabric, wooden lattice screens, cast iron shelving, oriental art, natural wood, serene landscape art into its space, a sense of past with a contemporary twist on the tea room aesthetic. With a receiving area, a tea room, 6 VIP rooms, main dining halls, a goose andn duck showcase and a bar, Liu Dynasty gives you the feeling of being swept away into a traditional oriental garden tea house; a relaxed setting to amuse the stomach, mind and soul.

The Cheapest Michelin-starred Meal In The World by Chan Hon Meng has landed Cebu shores. We’re honored to be commissioned to create a refreshed look for their first branch in the Visayas, maintaining its Asian hawker aesthetic and efficient kitchen plan.

📍Hawker Chan at SM Seaside City Cebu

Sitting in a vast corner lot in the town of San Remigio is this single-detached 377-sqm family home. Wide open spaces to receive relatives visiting from abroad were crucial to its functionality; flowing from one to another. Each room has wide open windows and sliding doors that open up to a spanning outdoor deck; the largest one strategically positioned to ward off the harsh southwest sun, making the house cool and well shaded throughout the day. Limewashed walls are accentuated with the warmth of wood, its volume disrupted by concrete breeze blocks and square perforations. In the 800-sqm site, a courtyard and gazebo is introduced as a central gathering space with an existing tiny house to make room for joyous gatherings.

Queens Pizza 🍕

Blending two iconic cities into one cohesive space. Drawing inspiration from the dynamic boroughs of New York City--Queens and the Bronx, our concept revolves around gritty street culture, vibrant graffiti art, and industrial aesthetics.

Imagine walking into a space where steel intersect with concrete, all bathed in a palette of deep blacks and grays, punctuated by bursts of color from bold graffiti art. The walls are alive with murals depicting iconic scenes from both Cebu City and New York City, each telling a story that celebrates their distinct identities.

The challenge lay in seamlessly integrating these elements to create an environment that resonates with both locals and visitors alike. It's about capturing the raw energy of New York's boroughs and infusing it with the warmth and creativity that defines Cebu City. The open kitchen concept further enhances the experience, allowing guests to witness the craftsmanship behind their pizzas while reinforcing their commitment to transparency and authenticity.

📍Queens Pizza - Tops Cebu, Busay

Aside from the stunning beach-front locale that the site had to offer, the key design consideration for this project is to creatively reflect the chef’s food philosophy and menu’s main focus at the fore: locally sourced and grown ingredients via their hydroponic farm straight to the diners’ tables.
This was the foundation for establishing an aesthetic for PLANT+HARVEST in Lio, El Nido.

Instead of using obvious motifs like ropes and model boats, or any direct nautical references or tacky references to the seaside; In authentic eco-chic fashion, we wanted to translate nature’s skin to actual build materials like soil, mud, clay, wood, terracotta, cogon, sand, and other elements of the natural world, in an intentionally laidback space that plays with texture and lighting.

📍PLNT+HRVST - El Nido, Palawan

Brutalist Minimalism: One aesthetic that’s so close to our hearts but not often commissioned. It was a joy designing this 60 sqm space; an extension of an existing well-loved restaurant right beside it. Space maximization has been the key design- challenged to a space that was meant for a dry aging room, and three small private dining rooms.

Where less is more, it’s the fine details that take the spot light. Our material palette of stone plastered walls, reflective bronze mirror, corten steel, bronze trims and black & white herringbone patterned floor and concrete waffled ceiling, are masterfully brought to life by dramatic lighting.

Perched across one of Cebu’s most famous look-out is this multi-hectare property the Atelier was commissioned to plan and design. As an answer to the client’s goal of providing a unique experience while serving as an interim development for a much larger development in 10 years, the Atelier proposed bamboo glamping resort: DÚYAN: Your cradle at the top.

Organically shaped, sturdy but light-weight, and showcasing local material and craftsmanship, the complex takes its form from the country’s national flower: The Sampaguita--symbol of purity, fidelity, and hope; From the main building with lobby and restaurant, honeymoon and family huts, a botanical garden with café and greenhouse, communal sheds and walkways shades, along-sides a petting zoo, horse-back riding trail, mini-golf course, and viewing decks. Dúyan allows you to take a pause within the bossom of nature, take-in both city and mountain views, and engage in recreation in a carefully planned, minimally-invasive, environmentally- respectful development.

Our take on the Binondo hole-in-the-wall favorite; a refreshed, more youthful, dynamic space.

Picking up on the branding colors of blue and red, we added wooden joinery accents on the ceiling and brick work on the walls--both playfully integrating lighting design. Traditional elements reminiscent of Old Binondo are introduced for recall: metal gates, Chinese street lanterns, oriental patterns and hand-painted murals conveying the old streets of Binondo and the Quik Snack Story.

Dedicated into transforming the mere ritual of hair removal into an exquisite experience, we took it upon ourselves to design a space curated to elevate the senses—a harmonious blend of soft, muted tones and subtle pops of art, bathed in the soft glow of pristine lighting and accentuated with textures. With each nook designed to embrace tranquility, playfulness and sophistication even with the challenge of a really low ceiling height, the newest branch we made for No Strips Waxing Salon is a warm, more refined, elegant and inviting take on our previous works; only fitting for a brand that keeps elevating—where hair removal is considered an art, where the artistry of self-care takes center stage.

Infusing a sense of warmth into these sophisticated bedrooms involves a meticulous combination of rich, masculine hues and dark wood tones. The use of luxurious textures and refined patterns not only establishes a timeless and inviting ambiance but also elevates these spaces into personalized sanctuaries that embody both style and comfort.

Taking cues from the industrial chic aesthetic of the pioneer branch, the newest No Strips waxing salon maintains the use of bricked walls and industrial furnishings while injecting a playful vibe by integrating softer colors and smoother lines & textures. The effortless blend of urban edge with a touch of femininity creates a warm and distinctive atmosphere, transforming the mere ritual of hair removal into an exquisite experience.

Shaking off the traditional mold, this 43-sqm law office is a breath of fresh air. Utilizing the corner unit to its fullest, we’ve woven together a private office, lounge, and pantry bar. This space challenges the notion that law offices must be overly serious, proving that functionality can coexist with a lively atmosphere. Unconventional materials inject life, creating a professional yet lively ambiance.

The team that introduced the authentic flavor of Taiwanese milk tea to the Philippines has set foot in Cebu, unveiling a charming little spot to satisfy your tea cravings. Nestled in a cozy nook, the shop features their distinctive ruby-colored tea tin cans as its centerpiece, adorned with vibrant red floral murals and their adorable bear logo.
