Below is the complete line-up of the 56 LCP elected national board and appointive officials that Mayor Rama now leads as National President for the 2022-2025 term.

Some 95 city mayors out of the 110 who attended today the 69th General Assembly from a roster of 146 cities signed a consensus supporting this line-up to comprise the new officers of the organization, a process allowed by the LCP Constitution.

QRT INSTALLATION OF EARLY WARNING SIGNAGES

Upon the directives of Mam Raquel Arce, the disaster office and Quick Response Team (QRT) installs warning signages and conducts disaster assessment profiling in Poblacion Pardo & Toong Road Project.

These warning signages inform the residents regarding landslide-prone areas. The command and control center is on-standby to monitor the situation.

Mayor Mike Rama attends as the guest of honor during Indiana Aerospace University's 29th Commencement Exercise held at the University Gymnasium, in Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.

Together with the mayor is IAU President Jovenal Toring, who thanked the mayor for accepting the invite.

In his message, the mayor told the graduates the value of appreciating the hardships their parents underwent for them just so they reach where they are now.

“Gratefulness. Daghan kaayo nahuman og eskwela apan walay batasan, nahuman ug eskwela dili kahinumdom sa sinugdanan. Wala gani mo kabalo nga everytime naay celebration (para ninyo) ang mga ginikanan mangutang,” Mayor Mike said.

Dr. Titanilla Tóth, Hungary's ambassador to the Philippines, receives a symbolic key to the City of Cebu during her visit at City Hall this morning, June 8. Acting Mayor Dondon Hontiveros received her at the Mayor's Office.

Among others, they discuss strengthening cultural tourism by having more Hungarians visit the city, sports scholarships for athletes, and technology exchange so MCWD could lessen electricity consumption on its water distribution.

Hungary is located in central Europe bordered by Slovakia and Austria to the north, Ukraine and Romania to the east, Slovenia to the west, and Croatia and Serbia to the south.

A kindergarten pupil checks her temperature as part of campus pre-entry requirement at Camp Lapulapu Elementary School in Brgy. Apas today, May 30, the first day of the pilot testing for their limited face-to-face classes.

The school allows students like her to be physically present in school if they already have their full two doses of the anti-CoViD vaccine.

This is a result of the "PaBakunaTa" campaign that Mayor Mike Rama and his administration pushed hard to accomplish.

Vaccination is still ongoing in regular sites of the city.

The City Health Department is likewise visiting the schools, especially in the mountain barangays, to enoculate teachers, and students and their parents.

The Habitat for Humanity Program (HHP) has partnered with the City Government, through the Department of Manpower Development and Placement (DMDP), for program dubbed as “Panday Buhay Project” to recruit applicants who wish to be trained in construction-related courses.

Among those applicants is Loretta Barricuatro, 55, who plans to take welding and tile setting courses.

The other courses offered are carpentry, masonry, plumbing, construction painting, and electrical installation.
