Meet our Jecieca Reyes, a self-taught Cebuana artist and a Tourism graduate in University of San Jose Recoletos. She loves the journey of being a Single Mom balancing multiple careers. Aside from painting she’s also passionate in floral styling, web designing & organizing events and art exhibits. Her unwavering determination to pursue her passions serves as her reminder that dreams are worth chasing even when the path seems daunting.
She decided to rekindle her creative spirit after 15 years of working in a Call center as an IT Support Analyst. She tried different media before discovering that Acrylic & Mosaic best expressed her creative impulses. Recently, she enjoy doing mural wall painting. She always gets inspired creating powerful animals in fantasy art. For her, they symbolize strong women who stand up for herself, face challenges, & refuse to stay quiet in the face of abuse of power. She want to encourage people who encounter challenges in life to Paint2Heal.

Take a glance at one of Jovelle Mae Jaca's new pieces for Colors of Liberation: Pride & Freedom Art Exhibit 🏳️🌈🎨❣️
"Elegance of Empowerment: The Divine Feminine Unveiled" is a captivating series which started from the "Whispers of Essence" that celebrates the profound metamorphosis of womanhood. Each stroke and hue captures the essence of a woman's journey—her rise from the depths of doubt to the heights of self-assurance."
"I am a Mompreneur and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy in the University of San Jose Recoletos. I am not an artist by profession, I'm a self-taught artist honed through group sessions, workshops, and other related experiences in painting and currently studying further to improve more on the technical side of arts. I owe my life to this God-given talent that has been hidden for so long... the reason why I'm so passionate with all my works. I've been suffering from depression for quite awhile and during the pandemic... God has guided me and opened up a door for me where I can express myself freely. It was a such a great healing avenue for me. I never thought that my creations will be appreciated. I was beyond grateful for all that the Lord has done. And everything I do, is for His glory!"

"Express yourself is the Freedom we all want to have."
"My journey in Arts started from sketching, doing pen & ink on my notebooks in college. It's my way of spending my free time in between school and working for the family business. Then came a chance to join Boy Kiamko summer workshops that introduce me to colors, Watercolor and Acrylic. Even tried using tinting colors on glass & mirrors. Sold some of my works in my shop before. Some i give as gifts to family & Friends for birthday & house warming. It's a Passion that I wish to continue to do, so I would be able to see my works in homes & work place of people who patronize arts. I'm working on my collection to one day soon, would be able to do my solo exhibit. Arts is Love, Love expressed in Every brush strokes It's a Legacy that appreciates thru time, that could pass on for generations."

Meet our Artist AJ Vilan 🫰🎨
"The painting depicts two women with intertwined pinkies, a symbolic gesture of a promise... that has been shattered. The tablecloth in the background underscores their secret bond. The other paper ring, while artistically beautiful, appears tattered and about to fall apart, reflecting the fragile and damaged nature of her commitment. “
AJ Vilan is an Architecture graduate and a passionate visual artist whose work is a vibrant expression of her emotions and inner world. Rooted in her architectural training, AJ's art is characterized by a keen eye for detail, and a strong sense of structure. However, it is her ability to convey deep, often complex emotions through her pieces that truly sets her apart. AJ has participated in numerous exhibitions, her pieces often explore themes of personal growth, resilience, and the human experience, inviting viewers to connect on an intimate level. AJ's creative journey is fueled by her desire to communicate feelings that are often difficult to articulate with words. Through her art, she provides a window into her soul, offering a glimpse of the joys, struggles, and triumphs that shape her existence. This emotional honesty, combined with her architectural sensibility, results in works that are both aesthetically compelling and deeply moving. AJ continues to develop her craft, constantly exploring new mediums and techniques to better express her artistic vision. Her work not only reflects her personal narrative but also resonates with a broader audience.

Meet our artist Maritoni Pereyra who believes that we all deserve Love, Respect, Freedom, Tolerance, Equality & Pride no matter what religion, gender or ethnicity we have.💚
"Hi my name is Maritoni A. Pereyra or Toni. A self taught budding artist based in Cebu City. Art is in everything just by watching the beautiful flowers, blue skies, sunset and the buzzing bees outside I feel excited to draw and paint them. Creating Art helped me in dealing with stress and i find painting so therapeutic, relaxing and fulfilling. I'm so grateful to rediscover this passion where I can create something that I could share and establish a connection with others. For me creating Art is a gift from God and each artist is unique. We all share a universal human experience & desire to be heard and to be seen.
Art has the power to change the way we see the world.Gives us new perspectives, ideas and values. It's never too late to do whatever makes your soul happy and spread hope, love and joy thru Art. For me Art is God, Love and Life."
