Last July 31, MMIS proudly celebrated the culmination of Nutrition Month with the theme: "Stable Food Commodities and Balanced Diets: A Holistic Pursuit for Nutrition Security."

Students creatively demonstrated their commitment to healthy living through activities like:

Each activity highlighted the importance of balanced diets and the value of nutritious food in our daily lives.

Ngayong buwan ng Agosto, ang Maria Montessori International School ay nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Filipino na may temang, "Filipino, Wikang Mapaglaya.” Ang wika ang kasangkapan upang higit nating mapagyaman ang ating karunungan sa sariling kultura at pagpapayaman sa ating identidad bilang mga malayang bansa.

Tunay nga na ang kaalaman sa wika ay susi sa karunungan at kalayaan! Atin itong gamitin upang epektibong makipagkomunikasyon at malayang magamit ang boses at kaalaman upang makilahok sa mga isyung panlipunang kinakaharap ng bansa.

Kaugnay nito, ang mga mag-aaral ng MMIS ay aktibong makikilahok sa mga gawaing nakahanda upang maipakita ang pagmamahal sa bansa, at sa sarili, bilang isang mamamayang Pilipino upang patuloy na mapangalagaan ang dahilan ng pagdanak ng dugo ng ating mga bayani noon pa man—Ang ating kalayaan!

"Emotional Awareness: Letting Go of the Past and Be Grateful for My Present."

Letting go of the past is not an overnight process, but learning to let go is the only way to move out of the past and into the present as well as the future. Thus, pause, look around, and practice the act of gratitude.

On April 5, 2024, the Grade 6 pupils with their Class Advisers gathered for this meaningful activity at the Little Theatre-Gorordo.
The activity helps the graduating pupils let go of something that they cannot change in the past and gives gratitude to those people who have helped them with their journey in MMIS. The Guidance Associate facilitated the various activities that led the Grade 6 pupils to move forward to another chapter of their lives with a grateful heart.

Congratulations to the student-athletes of Maria Montessori International School for their remarkable performance at the Cebu City Olympics - Swimming competition last March 22-23, 2024 at City Naga, Cebu. From the starting blocks to the finish line, our swimmers demonstrated exceptional talent and determination, showcasing the true spirit of athleticism and perseverance. Academic Fair 2024: Nurturing Minds, Shaping our Future

On March 21 and 24, 2024, MMIS- Gorordo and Talamban Campus conducted the Annual Academic Fair.

The Academic Fair 2024 is an enriching event designed to provide students with an extensive platform to explore diverse academic disciplines, fostering a culture of curiosity, learning, and personal growth. Hosted within the vibrant confines of our school, this activity aims to stimulate intellectual inquiry and inspire the pursuit of knowledge across diverse areas.

Gaining Additional Knowledge: Through interactive exhibits, informative presentations, and engaging discussions with faculty members and supervisors, the fair empowers students to make informed decisions about their academic pathways. By gaining insights into different disciplines, possible careers, and academic requirements, our pupils can chart a course that aligns with their passions and aspirations.

Celebrating Academic Achievement: The activity provides a platform to celebrate and showcase student accomplishments, including research projects, drawing, and academic achievements. By recognizing and honoring excellence, it inspires students to pursue academic excellence and strive for continuous growth and innovation.

Eyes here! | MMIS conducts student government election for AY 2024-2025!

MMIS Gorordo and Talamban campuses concluded the Student Government Election last March 21 and 20 respectively. The MMIS Students witnessed democracy in action as they elect the Officers for Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) and Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) for AY 2024-2025.

MMIS Preschool Department annually culminate the school year with a “Career Day Celebration (Pretend Day) where talents shine and spirit soar. The children dress up in costumes of what they want to become in the future.

Preschool parents gathered and witnessed the remarkable talents showcased by our preschool performers. Playgroup, Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten pupils showcased their costumes and showed their pretend profession. They also presented adorable performances through poem, dance and song. The performances of the preschoolers had surely touched the hearts and brought smiles to their supportive and loving parents. Mrs. Eva De Los Santos, one of the preschool parents graciously offered to serenade our little ones with a beautiful song, spreading joy to our preschool community. The activity was very memorable and significant to the preschoolers and to the parents as well.
