Assistant Superintendent Annie Pagdilao and DepEd Division Office personnel also joined the activity with the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur.

Gov. Jerry Singson, represented by Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Efren Rafanan, Sr., said in his message that the Independence Day reminds us that as one provice, a united continuing pursuit towards liberty remains.

The wreath laying ceremony was later followed by a short program to commemorate with the celebration of the Philippine Independence day.

DepEd Vigan City recently held a post-conference for coaches and assistant coaches who participated in the Region 1 Athletic Association Meet (R1AA) on May 21.

The conference aimed to comprehensively review the performance of the Division in the R1AA, including key achievements, challenges encountered, and valuable insights gained. This collaborative session, led by Schools Division Superintendent Vilma D. Eda and Division Sports Officer Sherwin Fabre, focused on areas for improvement and necessary adjustments based on the competition's results.
