DepEd Tayo Andico Elementary School

Thirteen pupils from Andico Elementary School eagerly participated in the Summer Kids Peace Camp 2024, held from June 19 to 21 at Alamada Central Elementary School. Sponsored by the Province of Cotabato and led by Gov. Emmylou "Lala" Taliño-Mendoza, this event brought together young campers to learn and grow. The pupils from AES showcased remarkable enthusiasm and participation, striving to excel in every activity and demonstrating their commitment to learning and personal development.

AES Shines at SKPC 2024

Jessica Kate R. Alipongga and Louie James D. Patigdas were awarded by the Province of Cotabato as this year's Summer Kids Peace Camp "Best Campers". These two campers showed their incredible enthusiasm, participation, and leadership. Also, their Pack Chief, Teacher Joy was also awarded as the "The Best Pack Chief" in leading her campers. Congratulations Team!

Isang makasaysayang araw para sa ating mga mag-aaral ng Grade 6! Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon, sila ay gagamit at magsusuot ng asul na salay para sa kanilang pictorial ng pagtatapos. 🎓💙

Ano ang Salay?
Ang salay ay isang tradisyunal na aksesorya na isinusuot ng mga mag-aaral tuwing kanilang graduation. Ang kulay asul ay sumisimbolo ng karunungan, kapayapaan, at pag-asa—mga katangiang nais nating ipamana sa ating mga kabataan habang sila'y patuloy na nagsusumikap para sa kanilang mga pangarap.

Kasaysayan ng Salay
Ang paggamit ng salay ay nagmula sa mga sinaunang seremonya ng pagtatapos kung saan ito'y sumisimbolo ng tagumpay at paglipat sa susunod na yugto ng edukasyon. Ito ay nagsilbing tanda ng kanilang pagsusumikap at dedikasyon sa kanilang pag-aaral.

Sa pagkakataong ito, atin silang samahan at ipagdiwang ang kanilang tagumpay sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuot ng kanilang asul na salay. Mabuhay ang mga mag-aaral ng Andico Elementary School!

This day, April 23 the pupils of Andico Elementary School were greeted with smiles and open arms as the students and teachers of Notre Dame of Genio Edcor, Inc. arrived with bags full of goodies. The pupils, hailing from an underserved community, were overjoyed to receive the much-needed supplies.

But the day was more than just giving out goods; it was about fostering connections and creating memorable experiences. The Grade 10 students, in particular, took the initiative to bond with the younger pupils. They organized a lively Zumba session, spreading energy and joy throughout the schoolyard.

One of the highlights of the day was when the Grade 10 students, along with the younger pupils, sang the sensationalized "5 Little Monkeys" from TikTok. Laughter filled the air as everyone joined in, showcasing the power of music and camaraderie.

In a heartwarming gesture, the Grade 10 students took the time to connect with the Andico Elementary School pupils on a personal level. They paired up with a pupil each and engaged in meaningful conversations. One pupil, Hanilyn, shared her experiences and challenges of going to school every day. The Grade 10 students listened attentively, learning about the hardships faced by their younger peers.

The outreach program not only provided much-needed support to the pupils of Andico Elementary School but also left a lasting impression on the students of Notre Dame of Genio Edcor, Inc. It reminded them of the power of empathy, kindness, and community.

As the day came to a close, both sets of students bid farewell, their hearts full of joy and their bonds stronger than ever. The outreach program served as a reminder that a small act of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life. And as the students of Notre Dame of Genio Edcor, Inc. left Andico Elementary School, they knew that they had made a difference, one smile at a time.
