Today, RHU Malidegao staff lend some of their time to share their learned knowledge gained from trainings and workshops on the different health programs to the Barangay Health Workers of BHS Gokotan.

The topics shared were:
📌 Care for the Mother and Child
📌 Routine Immunization
📌 Nutrition
📌 Use of PhilPEN Risk Assessment Tool
📌 and addressing their roles and responsibilities as barangay health workers

The barangay health workers had a harmonious and fun learning activity as they were eager to learn and very engaging all throughout the discussions.

We sincerely thank the Barangay Health Workers of BHS Gokotan for actively participating on this activity that will surely guide them to be the best Barangay Health Workers to the community. Truely, knowledge is power.

REACHING THE UNREACHED

The RHU Malidegao led by our active MHO Dr, Nymraida M. Marombsar, With RHU Malidegao Staffs and Partnership with Relief International Successfully Conducted Outreach Vaccination held at Brgy. Gokotan Malidegao.

Napakaimportante ng outreach activities because they serve to inform communities on the benefits of taking the vaccine and they can help dispel rumors and misinformation regarding the vaccine.

TODAY‼️August 20,2024📍

Out of 7 Barangays of RHU Malidegao the first Outreach Immunization Activity is conducted in Barangay Nunguan with 7 Sitios and Bayanihan Vaccination was done by the full force of RHU Staff, volunteer MRLs, BHW and BNS headed by MHO Dr. Nymraida M. Marohombsar together with the full support and participation of Relief international Public health Coordinator Sir Norman Gagarin, RI Security Officer Sir Albert Cuales and SGA Project officer Sir Morced Macabangin.
We are grateful for the support of BLGU headed by Brgy. Chairman Madaam Dulia Sultan together with her active Barangay Officials.

We, from RHU Malidegao thank alot for the effort and partnership of Relief International and unending support of UNICEF to reach our goal that no children will be left unvaccinated and all eligible children will be vaccinate and fully immunized.
In the said activity 53 children was immunized with 14 zero dose and 1 FIC.

National Lung Month and Tuberculosis Symposium held at Barangay Batulawan, Malidegao SGA BARMM

RHU Malidegao headed by Nymraida M. Marohombsar,MD together with the NTP focal person Sujarto A. Usman,RM, RHU Nurses, RHU staff and BHW in partnership with SGAFHO with the support of Provincial NTP Coordinator Maam Chessa O. Rodriguez,RN and BARMM-Readi successfully conducted a program to celebrate the National Lung Month..

We integrated the Immunization in the said activity in the support of Unicef and relief international together with the project officer of RI Sir Morced Macabangin to emphasize that BCG is the only vaccine against tuberculosis. It is the most widely administered vaccine and usually a part of the routine newborn immunization schedule. BCG vaccine also offers protection against non-tuberculous mycobacterial infections like leprosy and Buruli ulcer. Beside of the program there is vaccination area and we vaccinated 3 FIC children.

We are also grateful for the effort of BLGU headed by Hon.Loy Batugan for the support in the venue and the teachers who prepared for the stage. To the LGU representative and the SGAFHO for attending the program in the presence of Sir Norsalim Ali,RN and maam Meriam Guimbalanan, RMT.

The National lung month is observed to emphasize the importance of lung health and to raise awareness about lung diseases, their prevention, and the need for better respiratory care. The significance of celebrating National Lung Month includes information on how to prevent lung diseases, avoid exposure to pollutants, and adopt healthy lifestyle habits like quitting smoking and exercising regularly.

📌Spririt of Volunteerism

Muslim Religious Leader Sir Abdul Nasser Kumilang Voluntarily participated in most of the health activities in 8 barangays of RHU Malidegao recently become 7 Barangay.. His dedication to impart his knowledge specially in Islamic prospective was effective using the Fatwah in immunization and family planning.. In partnership with the UNICEF and Relief International the Project Officer of SGA sir Morsed Macabangen appreciated his efforts and dedication.. Mr. Kumilang still active in most of the health programs and he never refuse in all our invitation, still he is participating in the Outreach Vaccination catch-up Immunization conducted by RHU Malidegao..
