Amidst everything happening around me, I’ve been reflecting on the concept of slowness. I’ve been contemplating whether being slow truly has benefits or if it merely leads to being incapacitated.

I’ve carefully considered our core values of being “slow, intentional and cruelty- free”. It dawned on me that no matter how much I tried to expedite our processes, I often met with failure. This realization highlighted my lack of control over circumstances and reinforced my belief in the power and sovereignty of God. I’ve come to understand that God, in His wisdom, has allowed the beauty of slowness to help us appreciate the different seasons of life. (Ecclesiastes 3)

There is a unique beauty in witnessing natural and organic phenomena unfold gradually, revealing their true magnificence. Each journey we embark on tells a distinct narrative, with no two experiences being alike. By encouraging us to acknowledge the passing of time, God’s deliberate pace serves as a gift, enabling us to cherish the small moments and find gratitude in every instance.
