We are proud to announce that Ms. Divina Estacio, from the General Education Department of the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education, recently presented her research at the 2nd Joint International Conference on Mathematics, Statistics, and Engineering Applications (J-CoMSE 2024), held on September 17-18, 2024, at the Universiti Malaysia Terengganu Convention Centre (UMTCC), Malaysia. As the only Filipino scholar in the conference, Ms. Estacio proudly represented our country! 🇵🇭🎉

The event, co-organized by the Institute of Engineering Mathematics (IMK), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) and the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), is renowned for its Scopus-indexed proceedings, attracting leading researchers in Mathematics, Statistics, and Engineering from across the globe.

Ms. Estacio’s paper, "Exploring New Perspectives: Investigating Emerging Properties in Generalized Fibonacci-Lucas Sequences," introduced groundbreaking insights into generalized recurrence relations, the sum of sequences with negative indices, and Divine's identity. Her contribution marks an important advancement in computational science and mathematical research. 🧠📊

Adding to her achievements, Ms. Estacio was chosen as a Chairperson for one of the conference’s parallel sessions, showcasing her leadership and expertise among esteemed global scholars. 🎤🌟

NU Dasmariñas is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Brainspotting Philippines Training Consultancy Services. This collaboration will open doors for Nationalian students to gain valuable skills and knowledge in brainspotting, a relatively new approach to addressing mental health issues. In the said event, one of the teachers from the said department shared a heartwarming story for the Grade 4 students.

This also serves as an instrument to discuss the future projects with the school principal. The projects include restoring the school garden and implementing feeding programs to support severely wasted students.
