Here’s why you should consider adopting a mixed breed:

1. They can have more diverse genetics.
2. Every mutt is unique.
3. Mature dogs, not just puppies, are available at shelters.
4. They require less cash up front.
5. Many mutts are already housetrained.
6. They can be trained as service dogs.
7. They can join competitions, too.
8. They may have fewer health issues.
9. They offer spontaneity and a sense of adventure.
10. Since most homeless pups are mutts, adopting one is saving a precious life.

Ang Spay-Neuter Assistance Program ay hatid sa inyo ng mga beterinaryo na kabilang sa organisasyong Society for the Advancement of Veterinary Education and Research (SAVER) as part of their community outreach as vet professionals.

SNAP Davao by SAVER started in February 2022. It is a rotating in-clinic program that allocates one day per month for dedicated spaying and neutering, which aims to help address the issue of unwanted dogs and cats, including puppies and kittens that are euthanized nationwide every year or ending up as strays. We believe that responsible pet owners can make a difference by having their dog or cat spayed or neutered.
