We see a lot of chickenpox cases in the clinic lately so let's review the symptoms of varicella or commonly called chicken pox

Chickenpox is a highly contagious disease caused by the varicella-zoster virus (VZV).

The classic sign of chickenpox
✅ rash that turns into itchy, fluid-filled blisters which eventually become scabs

✅May first appear on the chest, back, and face

✅Then spread over the entire body, including inside the mouth, eyelids, or ge***al area.

If you think you or your child has a rash, consult your doctor.🧑‍⚕️

The best way to prevent chickenpox is to get the varicella or chickenpox vaccine. 💉
