DILG Region XI conducted a regional onsite assessment and validation of infrastructure projects enrolled under SubayBAYAN. The DILG RLIP program aims to measure the performance of LGUs in the implementation of infrastructure projects under a fully devolved system of governance.

City Planning and Development Office joins the MDDA Capacity Assessment Workshop in support of the on-going conduct of the Comprehensive and Sustainable Urban Development and Master Plan for Metropolitan Davao which is a collaborative effort of the National Economic Development Authority and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The workshop was organized as part of the project`s assessment effort to understand the current condition of Metro Davao and its member LGUs.

City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) joins the Site Suitability Assessment Workshop for idle government-owned lands conducted by The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Regional Office 11 (DHSUD RO 11).

This activity supports the current administration's directives through Executive Order 34 to identify government-owned lands that have remained idle for 10 years and assess their suitability for resettlement and housing projects under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Program or 4PH Program.

July 29, 2024 | OCPDC Keeps Projects on Track

Our team is diligently overseeing project progress with regular inspections.

OCPDC together with DILG facilitate the conduct of Ugnayan Sa Barangay to the 4 RCSP Beneficiaries Barangays Igpit, Ruparan, Colorado, and Binaton in the amount of P10 million pesos. The said activity was attended by barangay functionaries and was graced by partner agencies/ departments like: 39th Infantry Batallion, DTI, DepEd, TESDA, OCPDC, PESO, CSWDO, City Housing, CEO, CSPMO, and CVET

The office joined the DENR XI Assessment on Coastal and Marine Natural Resources of the city. The activity aims to gather updated data on the existing and potential locations of mangrove areas, seagrass areas, and coral reef areas.

Coordination meeting with different departments for the uploading of FALGU projects in the DILG Subaybayan Portal

On July 15 - 18, 2024, DHSUD XI in partnership with the LGU-Digos City, Davao del Sur spearheaded by the Office of the City Planning and Development Coordinator empowers the 26 Barangays of the City through Devolution Training on Zoning & Subdivision Projects with CPD points.

The training highlights the valuable role of the barangay in the enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance and capacitates them to address issues on subdivision projects in the city. The barangay also receives its respective approved zoning map from the City Planning.

The said training, according to the DHSUD XI, is believed to be the first in the entire Region XI.

The City Government of Digos supports the 2024 Census of Population (POPCEN) and Community-Based Monitoring System
(CBMS) this July.

A committee meeting on Public Works, Infrastructure, Housing, Rural and Urban Development was conducted and attended by this office to discuss the Development Permit Application of the proposed 5.5-hectare Residential Subdivision Project located at Brgy. San Agustin, this city.

July 9, 2024 | OCPDC personnel ensured project success with a monitoring inspection of 1 ongoing project and 5 completed projects.
