Diliman Learning Resource Center is now accepting applications for student assistantship this MIDYEAR A.Y. 2023-2024. The Student and Graduate Assistant (SAGA) Program provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to work and earn on-campus while pursuing their studies in the University. Student Assistants (SAs) are entitled to an hourly rate of PHP 60.00. SAs are allowed to render a maximum of 120 hours per month.

Exams are a daunting thing to do, much more just talking about them. Panicking while taking it helps none, too. โก
So, a vital thing I personally do is to leave time at the end of a test and just check! That's because sometimes, it saves me from my carelessness. โฐ
Here's my tip on checking:
๐ Ready to ace those exams? Dive into these 5 study tips to conquer your preparation game! ๐ช
1. Eat properly and develop a good sleep hygiene
- Eating regularly and properly is important as nutrition impacts memory, cognitive function, attention, focus, and energy. Good sleep hygiene is also needed because sleep disturbances often result in excessive daytime sleepiness, affecting the overall concentration and cognitive function required to study. Always take care of yourself!
2. Create a study plan
- Doing this allows you to take control of your learning process. Tailor your study plan according to your strengths and weaknesses. Spend more time on the subjects or topics that need more work.
3. Review and practice on past quizzes
- A huge part of acing a test is understanding how your teacher usually designs it. Practicing on previous quizzes or worksheets allows you to do this, helping you become more familiar and confident in answering similar questions!
4. Utilize active recall and spaced repetition
- Active recall involves actively retrieving information from memory, whereas spaced repetition involves spacing out review sessions over time to enhance retention. By integrating these two methods, you can enhance your memory capabilities and prolong information retention. Ways to do this include using flashcards, summarizing, and making visual diagrams to help yourself make connections.
5. Apply the pomodoro technique
- This technique helps you resist self-interruptions, and distractions, and re-train your brain to focus. It uses time-blocking to break your tasks into smaller, more bite-sized pieces. This makes your tasks less intimidating, thereby reducing your stress towards your workload.
