A few months ago, Humanist Global Charity sent clothes to HAPI's headquarters. The generous donor sent hooded sweatshirts, shoes, jeans, and sweat pants.
After sorting and shipping everything, the clothing was distributed across several chapters and just in time for the cooler weather.
HAPI Alabang, HAPI Delarama, HAPI Cagayan De Oro, HAPI Sorsogon, HAPI Bulacan and HAPI Zambales all chose recipients they felt would have greater use for the clothing. Clothing was also given to the rangers of the PawiCare Center in Zambales.
Thank you very much to the anonymous donor and to Humanist Global Charity!
On December 17, 2023, the kids of HAPI Bulacan were accompanied by their parents and volunteers to Skyranch Pampanga and fulfilled their dream of having their own field trip. The preparation for this began in April 2023 when they were taught about climate change, garbage segregation, and recycling in celebration of Earth Day. One of the recycling ideas was to turn their old water bottles into piggy banks. They collectively decided that the money they saved would be used for their field trip. With the money they saved, and with the help of several donors, their dream became a reality.
This project not only taught the children how to reuse their plastic bottles, but it also taught them the importance of saving and making wise decisions with their savings.
Thank you to the Provincial Government of Bulacan for providing the transportation, and thank you to the donors for the food, snacks and drinks.

The HAPI family paid a visit to the PawiCare Center where rangers collect and care for eggs laid by sea turtles. They then release the baby sea turtles into the ocean when they are strong enough to swim on their own.
HAPI has supported the rangers on a regular basis and are proud of the work they do. On this particular visit, groceries were dropped off for the rangers.
We would like to thank HGC for the clothes that were given to the rangers.
On the evening of December 8, 2023, the formal program ended with an awards night to recognize the efforts of HAPI's volunteers. Everyone shared their experiences since joining HAPI before the program began.

Day 2 of the HAPI CON was a very busy day! After lunch, everyone attended the General Assembly to hear and see where HAPI stands as 2023 comes to an end.

On December 8, 2023, the second day of the HAPI anniversary celebration, there was a conference that started with the attendees introducing themselves and deacribing their roles within the organization. This was followed by a talk given by HAPI Pride Ambassador Dandan Marquez which focused on stereotypes and q***r representation in Philippine media.
It is important to mention that this was the first time for many of the volunteers and members to meet face to face. This helped them to learn more about one another and ask questions regarding the issues presented in the talk.
HAPI Pride Ambassador Dandan Marquez gave a talk at the HAPI Conference on December 8, 2023. The conference was part of a 3-day celebration of HAPI's 10th Anniversary.
He discussed the stereotypes and q***r representation in the Philippine media. After the talk, participants asked questions and discussed how these stereotypes in the media delay any progress being made to push the SOGIE Bill forward.
Before buckling down for the General Assembly, the HAPI family had some fun getting to know one another and spending these rare moments to speak with Ms. M about life, HAPI and the future.
The attendees were greeted with smiles, tote bags loaded with giveaways, and fresh coconut juice served in the shell. They registered and received their room assignments before chatting with the other attendees. They were then served freshly baked cinnamon rolls made by Garry Rabang of HAPI Zambales.
Lunch was served while the function hall buzzed with excitement.
The attendees stopped at San Marecelino District Hospital on the morning of December 7, 2023 to deliver bread for the patients. This was also an opportunity for HAPI founder Marissa Torres Langseth and HAPI officers to meet the staff of the hospital.
The bread was made fresh and prepared by the officers of the HAPI Zambales chapter. This was made possible thanks to the generosity of their donors.
During the height of the pandemic in 2020, HAPI Zambales provided bread for patients at this hospital. It was this initiative that truly made their presence known in the area.
