Ang Kawanihan ng Pamamahala sa Piitan at Penolohiya Panrehiyong Tanggapan Walo, na pinamumunuan ni JSSUPT BERNARDO M SANCHEZ, DSC, Panrehiyong Director, ay malugod na naglalahad ng ulat tungkol sa mga makabuluhang nagawa ng mga piitan na sakop nito ngayong linggo.

Pangkabuohang; 493 na PDL ang nakatala sa programang ALS, 12 na PDL ang nagsitapos sa programang ALS, 856 PDL ang benepisyaryo sa programang pangkabuhayan, 101 na PDL ang benepesyaryo ng programang Katatagan, Kalusugan at Damayan ng Komunidad, 13 ang nakalaya, 11 ang nailipat sa pan Probinsyang Piitan, at 281 ang naisagawang operasyon galugad, 1 Pinagsamang Operasyon Galugad sa pakikipag tulungan kasama ang PDEA. Samantala, wala namang naiulat na ano mang kaguluhan sa lahat ng Piitan.

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology congratulates Golden Boy, Carlos Edriel Yulo, for bagging gold in the Artistic Gymnastics Men's Floor Exercise during the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Carlos Yulo is the first ever male Filipino to win gold in the Olympics, and the second gold medalist in Philippine History following Filipina weightlifter, Hidilyn Diaz

GDJ JOINS BRIGADA ESKWELA 2024

Guiuan District Jail under the leadership of SJO2 Noel C Opre - Acting Warden joined the Brigada Eskwela at Alingarog Elementary School, Brgy. Alingarog, Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

This aims to enhance the quality of public education, foster unity within communities, and instill a sense of pride and ownership in maintaining school facilities. It serves as a platform for partnership engagement activities, emphasizing the importance of preparing schools to provide students with a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment. Ultimately, Brigada Eskwela embodies the Filipino values of community collaboration, volunteerism, and shared responsibility in improving public education nationwide.

INFORMATION DRIVE &
DISTRIBUTION OF IEC MATERIALS ON NAP P/CVE OF ELCAC EO 70; ANTI-DRUGS AND ANTI-SMOKING CAMPAIGN

Guiuan District Jail headed by SJO2 Noel C Opre—Acting Warden thru JO1 Ralf C Buna—CRSO and JO1 Alvin C Odo conducted Information Dissemination thru Distribution of IEC Materials on NAP P/CVE of ELCAC EO 70; Anti-Drugs and; Anti-Smoking Campaign; to the residents of Barangay 9-A, Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

They were informed on the ongoing communist rebellion and terrorists attacks in the Philippines and the government’s continuous effort to end armed conflict/to prevent/counter violent extremism; they were also encouraged to avoid the consumption of illegal drugs and encouraged smokers to quit now by showing them the very real consequences of smoking related illness on their own quality of life and for their loved ones.
