Just like everyone else in our barangay, we are also excited for the upcoming matches of the basketball inter-purok match of the Christmas league. The new set of Sangguniang Kabataan officials of barangay Luinab in partnership with the Rotaract Club of Iligan Bay will conduct a symposium for the youth about HIV and AIDS Awareness. This event will be beneficial to everyone, especially the youth because it will raise public knowledge about HIV/AIDS in which it will tackle its prevention, treatment and most importantly, care for people with HIV/AIDS. Moreover, this symposium will also delve on how to diminish stigmas, discriminations, and human rights violations to people who face this kind of challenge in their daily lives. Let us spread knowledge to create a society where awareness is the light that banish stigmas and ignites empathy.

Chrisler Satorio of purok 4 seized “𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦” by showing his skills and unwavering passion during the match. This happened during the volleyball inter-purok match of the christmas league.

During the intense matches of the inter-purok volleyball match of the christmas league, Fretzie Mugot of purok 9A shows his strong willed self with burning passion in blocking attacks earning the “𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦” happened on November 27, 2023.

He is young and active. He served almost half of his life. He loves serving and sharing his vibes and happiness. Young ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you the one and only smiling person in Deus Caritas Village. AL MARVIN IGOT BELDAD.

He is a dedicated and passionate 4th-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing Management at Mindanao State University in Naawan. Beyond his academic pursuits, he is deeply involved in various roles and responsibilities that reflect his commitment to personal growth, leadership, and community service.
One of his most cherished roles is that of an active youth leader within the Young Disciples of Jesus in Deus Caritas Village, where he has the privilege of guiding and inspiring his peers in their spiritual journeys. In addition, he serves as the dynamic KK youth president, where he has the opportunity to foster community connections and advocate for the youth's interests within our local community.

Furthermore, he is actively engaged in platforms dedicated to peacebuilding and security, where he works alongside fellow community members to promote understanding, cooperation, and harmony within his community. In addition, he wants to strengthen and promote diversity and inclusion through cultural, social, and artistic endeavours, which are essential in preserving and fostering the area's rich cultural heritage and artistic expressions, encouraging creativity and expression, and celebrating the various cultural traditions.
Through these involvements, he has come to appreciate the power of unity, stability, and the arts in shaping our community's identity and future.

His journey as a marketing management student, combined with his active involvement in these diverse initiatives, has helped him develop a unique perspective and a diverse skill set that he is excited to bring to any opportunity or project.
He looks forward to continuing to grow as an individual and as a contributing member of his community while pursuing his academic and personal aspirations.

He is Steven Cabahug Dionaldo, 21, a bona fide resident of Barangay Luinab residing at Purok 1. A 3rd year student currently taking a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology

As a sports enthusiast, Steven has been into sports since he was just 8 years old. He started to learn basketball all by himself. As someone who is full of compassion at a young age, he participated in countless leagues outside and inside Iligan City. Through his extreme dedication to sports, it led him to both empower his sportmanship and leadership traits.

Being an academically competent student athlete from his junior high years up until college proves to us that his level of motivation can determine his level of greatness as a student-athlete. His supportive parents are the living testimonies of how sports shaped his highly optimistic personalities, and for him, being FEARLESS is the ultimate key to enjoy life to the fullest.

Hello Iliganons! Proud to introduce, this is RHEA ROSE C. NIEVES, a 4th year student taking up Bachelor of Special Needs Education in St. Michael's College. In her past years, she was exposed to a different trainings and seminars. Also, she was a volunteer teacher in Sagip and Sibol Tutorial in GK Dalipuga showing how she love and passionate on her teaching profession.

With the responsibility of being hope of the nation, the youth nowadays have not only been focusing on education but have also been driven towards an actions such us being an active youth in our community that helps inspire other people. In addition, she helps various charity works and to be a volunteer gives her a fufillment to become a more convenient and effective teacher. It is good to have a great connection with our local government specially when proposing projects and her band has this kind of connection. With her, she is ready to go beyond and be involved to make a change in our community.

Together, we embrace the chance for an exciting endeavor, to grow personally, and hopefully to make a meaningful impact on our community.

Meet Jefferson Cañete Tamondong, also known as "Jeff/Jip-Jip" or "Tamz". He is a dynamic 23-year-old resident of Purok 2A Luinab, Iligan City, with a profound passion for leadership. Jeff, as he's known to his friends and neighbors, has always been dedicated to helping those around him. His leadership qualities shine through in his commitment to supporting others in various ways, from guiding his friends and neighbors through their academic activities to actively participating in community services. Jefferson's unwavering determination and desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those he interacts with have led him to pursue a path in leadership and community service.

Jefferson is deeply dedicated, to promoting health and the well being of the community. He plays a role in the Committee on Health actively engaging in initiatives such as providing first aid training promoting preparedness for disasters like water, fire and earthquakes and hosting various seminars to raise awareness about mental health. He genuinely cares about the welfare of his community. Consistently strives to enhance their health and safety. His commitment, to promoting health and education highlights his mission to establish healthcare services that encourage healthy lifestyles and enhance overall quality of life for everyone.

Jefferson's educational journey is proof of his remarkable dedication and hard work. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer Applications at MSU-IIT. His bachelor's degree was in Computer Applications, major in Embedded Systems, building on his undergraduate success where he achieved with honors, earning the distinction of Cum Laude. As a consistent honor student from high school to college, Jefferson's educational achievements demonstrate his achievement of excellence in every aspect of his life, laying a strong foundation for his continued contributions to his community and beyond.

She is John Vincent Pepito Caballa, born on June 19, 2000. Most people know her as "Sosoy" or "QueenLet", an active KK president of her current residency, her beloved Purok 5A. She is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in secondary education with a major in sciences (BSED- Sciences) at Mindanao State University at Naawan.

A self-driven transgender and a transformative leader who's passionate to become a catalyst for a positive impact with her strong way of leading her people. In addition, she is a volleyball afficionado that brought her team with her strong leadership to the championship of the recent volleyball tournament during Luinab's Festival Cup 2023.

She is a young politician who will listen to you, fight for you, and get things done for you. She has the experience, qualifications, and dedication to effectively serve you. She have a track record of getting things done and is not hesitant to stand up for what is right, even if it is controversial. She will work to create jobs, grow the economy, and make our communities safer and more livable for everyone. Mark this, this transformative transgender leader will make a difference in your life.

Her name is Aileen Doblado Macadildig, currently studying at Mindanao State University at Naawan taking Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management in my 3rd year. As your KK (Katipunan ng Kabataan) President in Purok 9A Luinab, she is excited to be a part of our vibrant community and to work with all of you.

One of her top priorities is to educate and inspire all the young minds in our neighborhood about the importance of preserving our environment. We have a beautiful world around us, and it's our responsibility to take care of it. Together, we can learn about sustainable living, waste reduction, and the significance of green initiatives. Her goal is for us to come together and create a positive impact on the environment and our community.
