The Aftermath.

The Rotaract Club of PHINMA-University of Iloilo, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of West Visayas State University, showed up to bring sunshine and conducted a donation drive for those who were affected by the severe typhoon Goring. The accumulated amount was spent on various primary necessities such as canned goods, noodles, toiletries, and biscuits. Rice and clothes were given as well on September 1, 2023.

In times of catastrophic and miserable situations, there will always be people, at all times and everywhere, with needs and problems beyond their own capacity for solution. In coordination and hope, we can show greatness, and that was being proved by the Rotaractors and all the good people under this initiative who were also determined to be of service and give assistance in any form.
"I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination."
There are things that are beyond our control, and we must adapt and adjust to them instead of trying to change them, just like Typhoon Goring brought to the Philippines.
The Rotaract Club of PHINMA-University of Iloilo was able to launch a virtual meeting on August 30, 2023, with their Donation Drive Agenda for the flood victims in Lanit, Jaro, Iloilo City that will be held on September 01, 2023.

Showing empathy and kindness isn't an expensive thing. Ten years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Help those who are in need, because your action matters.
