The month of September is the International Coastal Clean-up Month, with this year's theme, . This yearly activity has been a truly celebrated activity as it displays the collective effort of all the sectors in the community that fosters awareness and dynamic action in cleaning up our coastal areas all over the world.

This year, PHINMA University of Iloilo - College of Engineering Students joined the City Environment and Natural Resources Office in their initiative in cleaning our coastal areas at Calumpang, Molo this September 16, 2023.

As part of the university protocols in wearing school uniform, wearing of any Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) Lanyards is strictly not allowed inside the university campus.

The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers - PHINMA University of Iloilo Student Chapter extends it support to the university and will be of help in keeping the school spirit strong by wearing our official university lanyard.

As we welcome the new aspiring engineering students of the PHINMA University of Iloilo we are please to announce the we will be having our Pambungad: The College of Engineering Freshmen Orientation this August 22, 2023 at the Audio Visual Room of the university.

We hope to see your amazing presence during that day future engineers!

College of Engineering Faculty and Staff showcased their superhero-inspired glam in the recent "incrediBALL" Heroes Assembly, August 4, 2023, held at Grand Xing Imperial Hotel.

The event was to acknowledge the great efforts of PHINMA University of Iloilo educators as superheroes in the academe through their dedication of Making Lives Better Through Education.

LOOK | The President of Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers PHINMA University of Iloilo Student Chapter, Franz Laurence Barbosa and Chairman of the College of Engineering Student Council, Mary Grace Nono, attended the Liveable Cities Local Lab Enhancing Liveability: Cultivating Potential of Iloilo.

It was a talk spearheaded by the Liveable Cities in partnership with Globe and League of Cities of the Philippines with association with the Iloilo Business Club Inc.

Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. (Province of Iloilo), Mayor Jerry Treñas (City of Iloilo), Engr. Terence Uycongco (Chairman, Iloilo Economic Development Foundation), and Tania Padilla (Vice President, Sales Globe) was the panelists during the event.

The discussion was about highlighting the strengths of Iloilo City in terms of infrastructure and BPO's standing up to its distinction as top one of the Government Efficiency by the National Competitiveness Council in 2015 and also agriculture in the province which named the province as the most competitive province in Western Visayas in 2021 by the Department of Trade and Industry.

LOOK | The PHINMA University of Iloilo Hall was filled with hundreds of Engineering Students from the PHINMA University of Iloilo College of Engineering during the Upperclassmen Orientation, July 4.

During the Event, The Dean of College of Engineering, Engr. Felemuel Bullos Jr. talks with the students of the 100% target board exam passers, the acquisition of the up-to-date laboratory and hiring some of the best instructor in the city to provide quality and ready-for-board exam students.

Moreover, the President of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers - PHINMA University of Iloilo President, Franz Laurence Barbosa talks about the University Policies and upcoming activities of the College of Engineering and PICE-PUISC.

Meanwhile, The Chairman of the College of Engineering, Mary Grace Nono talks about the different facilities of the University and the Scholarship grants available for the students who would like to study at the university.
