MINOR SURGERY TRAINING BATCH 2 😷💉🩸🔪

Due to overwhelming interest during its first iteration, the Philippine Medical Students’ Association National successfully held its second batch of Minor Surgery Training at the Asian Social Institute, Manila last June 20, 2024.

Once again, pre-medical, nursing, and medical students from various schools within and beyond Metro Manila gathered to learn about the current situation of our country’s healthcare system and practice basic skills in minor surgery and circumcision through demonstration and return demonstration.

The PMSA congratulates all MST Batch 2 attendees for successfully completing the Minor Surgery Training. We are most grateful for your active participation and enthusiastic involvement throughout the event.

We also extend our appreciation to volunteer doctor, Dr. Kevin Cristobal, and the members of the Philippine Nursing Students' Association - National for their assistance as facilitators during the training.

Together, let us imbue these learnings and skills into our lifelong commitment to serve the Filipino people!

The Philippines bursts with national pride as we celebrate the 126th year of independence this 2024. This occasion is a powerful reminder of our shared history and unwavering spirit. We come together to celebrate what it means to be Filipino and embrace the future with hope and unity.

The IDCM community celebrates with pride and joy our recent achievements at the 7th APMC-SN National Convention held at Bayanihan Center Unilab, Pasig City last May 3-5.

Vinz Jison, John Paul Solano, Mary Christine Cuachon and Rey Angelica Alpasan stood as the lone Iloilo Medical school representative for the ClincoPathological Case Conference and delivered their clearcut diagnosis to the esteemed panel of judges.

Meanwhile, the IDCM Student Council 2023-2024 also bagged the Silver Award for the prestigious Seal of Good Governance solidifying the team's dedication and hardwork to student leadership for this AY.
