𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙨?
- UPHS Cebu only accepts applicants for incoming Grade 7 and Grade 11. It does not accept transferees or new students in Grades 8, 9, 10, and 12.

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣?
- UP High is a government-funded school; hence, students do not pay any tuition fee.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧?
- UP High offers a unique curriculum where students will choose to take the GAS-STEM or GAS-HUMSS strand.

𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨 300𝙆 𝙥𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙨, 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙎𝘼𝙏?
- UP High also caters to applicants who are dependents of UP employees, children of UP Cebu alumni, and talented athletes (see guidelines for the requirements).

𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨?
- The applicant (together with the parent/guardian) must submit the documents in person for preliminary evaluation. Those who will qualify will be interviewed immediately. No online application will be entertained.

𝐔𝐏 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮 is now accepting applications for admission to Grade 7 and Grade 11 for School Year 2024-2025.

Starting last year, it opened its doors to children of UP Cebu alumni and athletically gifted students as it continues its mandate of serving families from the lower-income sector through the democratized access policy.

The democratized access gives students who lack the financial resources better chances to have their college education in UP and other good colleges and universities. Students applying through the democratized access must come from families whose annual gross income is P300,000.00 or less.

In recognition of the role of alumni, limited slots are given for children of UP Cebu alumni regardless of income. UP Cebu alumni include not only those who finished their academic degrees but also those who finished Junior High School or graduated from Senior High School at UP High School Cebu.

Students who excel in sports can also apply for admission through the Varsity Athletics Admission System (VAAS).

To qualify for the initial screening, the applicant must be:
1. an elementary graduate or a Grade 10 completer at the end of
SY 2023-2024;
2. have a computed average of 85 or better in Math, Science,
Social Studies, English, and Filipino (for incoming Grade 7);
3. have a computed average of 88 or better in Math, Science,
Social Studies, English, and Filipino (for incoming Grade 11);
4. must have no grade below 80 in any subject; and,
5. has a grade of B or its equivalent in Conduct.

Only those applicants who qualify in the initial screening may take the High School Admission Test (HSAT) scheduled on April 21, 2024 (Sunday). Applicants who applied through the VAAS will undergo the VAAS screening instead of the HSAT.

Deadline for filing of applications is 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 (𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲).
