Sa ika-38 anibersaryo ng People Power sa EDSA, ang UP Guild of United Minds - UP Praefects ay nakikiisa sa sambayanan sa pagpupugay sa tapang at determinasyon ng mga Pilipino na ipinaglaban ang kalayaan at demokrasya noong taong 1986.

Kasabay ng pagdiriwang, hindi natin dapat kalimutan ang mga hamon at laban na kinakaharap ng ating lipunan sa kasalukuyan. Patuloy na nakikibaka ang bawat isa sa mga suliranin tulad ng pang-aabuso sa kapangyarihan, kawalan ng katarungan, at lumalalang krisis sa edukasyon. Ang mga mag-aaral ay patuloy na nahaharap sa kakulangan sa badyet, at ang mga panukalang polisiya tulad ng Mandatory ROTC na nagbibigay ng mga alalahanin ukol sa kalayaan at seguridad ng mga mag-aaral.

Sa anumang paraan, patuloy nating ipagbunyi ang diwa ng People Power at ip**ita sa buong mundo ang tapang at determinasyon ng mga Pilipino. Sa tulong ng bawat isa, magsisilbi tayong tanglaw at lakas sa pagtahak sa landas ng pagbabago at pag-unlad.
