In June 1999, the Rotary Club of Cosmopolitan Lucena was chartered with 30 well-balanced membership of diverse classifications
Every August of the year, Sight Saving Month is observed to raise public awareness about the importance of eye health and the prevention of blindness. This is why the Rotary Club of Cosmopolitan Lucena has partnered with the Local Government of Tayabas City to conduct vision screening for children at selected child development centers across various barangays on August 29, 2024 at Casa Comunidad, Tayabas City.
In addition, the club distributed activity books, school supplies and dental kits to the Day Care children
The RCCL's 26th Governor's Visit was held on August 14, 2024 at Crown Hall, Queen Margarette Hotel, Lucena and was attended by twenty five Cosmopolitans.
The event got these following impact:

The Provincial Government of Quezon through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) give cash incentives amounting to Fifty Thousand Pesos for Centenarian and Twenty Thousand Pesos for Nonagenarian Senior Citizens of Pagbilao and Sariaya in partnership with the Rotary Club of Cosmopolitan Lucena. The club distributed Hygiene, Dental and Sleeping kits, Food Stuff, Multi-Vitamins and Birthday Cakes as additional gifts to vulnerable Senior Citizens.
This is to continuously support the RI 3820 Project ARNOLD of empowering ang showing care to Elderly sector in the community.
Making weekend productive for Cosmopolitans by hitting 3 birds with one stone.

TARA BASA- promote literacy in areas where educational resources are scarce and improve the reading comprehension skills of students. school uniforms, school supplies, and family food packs for the learners and their families were provided by RCCL
BUNTIS CONGRESS- supports the national government's goal for Safe Motherhood by improving maternal and neonatal health through preventive and promotive activities. Distribution of dental, sanitation, and sleeping kits and dental check-up to young pregnant mothers are the services rendered by Cosmopolitans.

This project is the provision of capital assistance to twenty beneficiaries who are victims of calamities both natural and man-made like social disorganization brought about by armed conflict. As a preparation, they were given training and orientation on doing business on July 20, 2022, and were assisted in securing a DTI business permit as one of the pre-requisites to avail the project by the major implementing agency which is the Department of Trade and Industry. This was materialized due to the partnership of the Rotary Club of Cosmopolitan Lucena in the role to tapping DTI, Local Government of Buenavista, Quezon which identified qualified beneficiaries through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, Land Bank of the Philippines-Lopez Branch for the issuance of cash cards and DTI as funding agency which granted P10,000.00 worth of business items each recipient
The goal of the project is to help beneficiaries increase their family income through business and being able to address other family needs such as food for survival and daily sustenance, education of their children, and being able to save for the family's future needs.
The distribution of business kits was conducted on December 27, 2022, with the presence of DTI and LBP Representatives as well as the Municipal Mayor of Buenavista, Quezon, and RCCL
The recipients of this project are selected pupils of Aurora Elementary School Annex, San Francisco, Quezon who belong to the poverty threshold as assessed and referred by their respective Class Advisers which totaled Hundred Twenty-Five (125). This is under BATA KASALI KA, IKAW AY MAHALAGA

In partnership with Greentelcom which sponsored the 40 units of Gaz Lites, RCCL was able to render another service under KAPAKANAN AT PAG-UNLAD MO, HANGAD KO, for the indigent fishermen and fish vendors of San Francisco, Quezon that were assessed and recommended by the local DSWD of the area as eligible for the assistance.
