This baggerโs shoes were one inch bigger than his feet.
By the end of my grocery run, I had three carts that were overflowing and it took me quite awhile to finish. Nabusy lola ninyo nung January eh, so my kids were already saying we will die soon ๐. Ayun sobrang dami tuloy ng kailangan i-restock.
I noticed however that this baggerโs work was so pulido. He was organized, made extra effort to make sure the boxes were secured with the straw ropes, and he worked fast! By the time, we were supposed to load the stuff in my car, walang ibang baggers na available para makatulong sa kanya. So he ended up pushing two carts and I pushed the other one. As we were walking, napansin ko that he was shuffling his feet. Sobrang luwag ng shoes nya ๐ฅ.
After he loaded the stuff, I gave him money to buy shoes. And then told him na maayos sya magtrabaho, ituloy nya lang. tapos wag nya ibigay sa nanay nya yung pera ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ. Bili sya shoes.
He wiped his face. Naiyak. ๐ thank you ng thank you, and even when he was walking away, punas pa rin ng punas.
Again, I am not sharing the story para magmukhang mapagbigay. My point is that our biggest investments as humans is in humans. Now, I donโt know if he will spend that money in something else. I donโt know if it will make a difference in his life. It did, in mine.
The Abundance Formula
Itโs simple. Just remember these 4 numbers:
100, 10, 20, 70.
Earn 100% - galing sa SALARY/BUSINESS MO
๐Give back/Tithe 10% - Dapat unahin mo si GOD.
Malachi 3:10, ESV: "Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need."
Spend 70% - dapat matutunan natin to manage the remaining 70% para sa mga expenses. Live below your means.
Abundance formula is a simple principle to guide you to successful money management. You may find it hard to follow at first, but with strong commitment and dedication to improve your personal finances, there is no reason for you not to achieve your financial goals.
The reason of being financially prepared always boils down to your family. You know that no matter what will happen during old age your kids can't turn their back away from you. The sad part is this is taken in a wrong context. With our culture, we thought getting old is our children's responsibility.
Our obligation doesn't only stop in sending them to school and providing their needs. A good and a strong foundation for our retirement is the best gift we can give to our kids. This will give them more resources to focus on their family's needs someday.
It's good to secure the future of our kids but never forget yours. Imagine the scenario where we were able to send our kids to college and get a good job after but in the end they are obliged to financially support us because we have failed to manage our retirement days.
During a prank, a student stuck a paper on his classmate's back that said "๐'๐บ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฝ๐ถ๐ฑ", and asked the rest of the class not to tell the boy.
Thus the students began laughing on and off...
Came afternoon math class started and their teacher wrote a difficult question on the board.
No one was able to answer it except the boy with the sticker.
Amid the unexplained giggles, he walked toward the board and solved the problem.
The teacher asked the class to clap for him and remove the paper on his back.
She told him: "It seems that you donโt know about the paper your classmate has pasted on your back."
Then the teacher looked at the rest of the class and said:
"Before I give you a punishment, let me tell you 2 things:
First, throughout your Life, people will put labels on you with many nasty words to stop your progress.
Had your classmate known about the paper, he wouldn't have gotten up to answer the question.

"Second, itโs clear that he doesn't have any loyal friend among you all to tell him about the sticker.
It doesn't matter how many friends you have - it is the loyalty you share with your friends that matters.

What are Mutual Funds for?
It's a way for small savers & investors to team-up with big & and experienced investors in the Stock Market.
It's a way for your small, limited hard-earned money to grow millions over long-term commitment of "put & put".
It's a way for hardworking regular people like you, to become a multi-millionaire during retirement years thru "disciplined" saving.

An eight-year-old child heard her parents talking about her little brother.
All she knew was that he was very sick and they had no money left.
They were moving to a smaller house because they could not afford to stay in the present house after paying the doctorโs bills.
Only a very costly surgery could save him now and there was no one to loan them the money.
When she heard her daddy say to her tearful mother with whispered desperation,
โOnly a miracle can save him nowโ.
the little girl went to her bedroom and pulled her piggy bank from its hiding place in the closet. She poured all the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Clutching the precious piggy bank tightly, she slipped out the back door and made her way six blocks to the local drugstore.
She took a quarter from her bank and placed it on the glass counter.
โAnd what do you want?โ asked the pharmacist.
โItโs for my little brother,โ the girl answered back. โHeโs really very sick and I want to buy a miracle.โ
โI beg your pardon?โ said the pharmacist.
โHis name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my daddy says only a miracle can save him. So how much does a miracle cost?โ
โWe donโt sell miracles here, child. Iโm sorry,โ the pharmacist said, smiling sadly at the little girl.
โListen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isnโt enough, I can try and get some more. Just tell me how much it costs.โ
In the shop was a well-dressed customer.
He stooped down and asked the little girl, โWhat kind of a miracle does you brother need?โ
โI donโt know,โ she replied with her eyes welling up. โHeโs really sick and mommy says he needs an operation. But my daddy canโt pay for it, so I have brought my savingsโ.
โHow much do you have?โ asked the man.
โOne dollar and eleven cents; but I can try and get some moreโ, she answered barely audibly.
โWell, what a coincidence,โ smiled the man, โA dollar and eleven cents โ the exact price of a miracle for little brothers.โ
He took her money in one hand and held her hand with the other. He said, โTake me to where you live. I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Letโs see if I have the kind of miracle you need.โ
That well-dressed man was Dr Carlton Armstrong, a surgeon, specializing in neuro-surgery.
The operation was completed without charge and it wasnโt long before Andrew was home again and doing well.
โThat surgery,โ her mom whispered, โwas a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost.โ
The little girl smiled. She knew exactly how much the miracle cost โฆone dollar and eleven cents โฆ plus the faith of a little child.
Mind Mantra - miracles happen when you keep searching for the answer relentlessly. Miracles don't happen when you sit and wait for them. Only Perseverance to achieve a goal can make miracles happen..
A father said to his daughter โYou have graduated with honors, here is a car I bought many years ago.
It is a bit older now but before I give it to you, take it to the used car lot downtown and tell them you want to sell it and see how much they offer you for it.
The daughter went to the used car lot, returned to her father and said, โThey offered me $1,000 because they said it looks pretty worn out.โ
The father said, now โTake it to the pawn shop.โ The daughter went to the pawn shop, returned to her father and said,โThe pawn shop offered only $100 because it is an old car.โ
The father asked his daughter to go to a car club now and show them the car. The daughter then took the car to the club, returned and told her father,โ Some people in the club offered $100,000 for it because itโs a Holden Torana and it's an iconic car and sought by many collectorsโ
Now the father said this to his daughter, โThe right place values you the right way,โ If you are not valued, do not be angry, it means you are in the wrong place. Those who know your value are those who appreciate you......Never stay in a place where no one sees your value.
Never!

While looking at these bills, I realized that maybe the person/s on the money has its own purpose.
I think, the reason kung bakit isa lang ang tao sa 20, 50, and 100 ay para e-remind tayo na kapag sila palang ang laging laman ng wallet mo, you are not ready yet for a relationship.
Dalawang tao naman for 500 to inform us na kapag si 500 na ang laging laman ng wallet mo, pwede ka na magjowa
Lastly, 3 persons naman for 1K to tell us na kapag sya na ang laging laman ng wallet mo, you can afford na magka pamilya
IKAW ALIN JAN LAGING LAMAN NG WALLET MO?

Another random realization.
A lot of people would usually tell me โAtty, bumili ka na ng sasakyan mo. โ I would respond with a polite smile. All I could do is to politely smile because if I would respond honestly, I would only come out rude especially when I would point out that being a lawyer doesnโt mean that I should look rich or I should be rich for that matter. Plus, my dad would drop me off in the office every morning so a tricycle ride home is no big deal.
Let me tell you this: you donโt have to prove your professional capacity with the properties you own. I would understand if I am told to consider buying a car for convenience or for safety and security more so if hearings are outside the City. But if I am told to buy one to look like a lawyer? Bro, pass! I donโt need to stage my life just so I can justify my profession.
Minsan kasi, we are too judgy no?
Reality is, we quantify oneโs intellect and skills with the properties and materials things he owns. Ang sad no? What we donโt realize is that we have our own priorities, our own timeline. One lawyer or any professional who is only practicing for a year could buy a car or a house in a snap because maybe, that is his priority. While another who is practicing for five years couldnโt buy one because his priority is to save for the education of his siblings, for the medication of an ailing parent, for preparation of marriage, or for charity-who knows? Regardless of priorities and of properties, we should stop equating intellect and skills with wealth.
Is it lack of ambition? Yes if you are lazy. No if you have other necessary priorities.
Whatโs my point? Wala. Bahala na kayong gumets. Let me just enjoy my tricycle ride and my coke float in peace.
If you think your bills will also stop when you stop working or earning income, then don't save and invest for retirement.
1. Healthcare - both short term at long term na sasagot sa tanong na What if I get sick?
2. Life Insurance - na sasagot sa tanong na What if I die too soon? Who will take care of my family?
3. Manage Debt - dapat wala nang utang bago mag retire
4. Emergency Fund - at least 3 to 6 months of your monthly income
5. Investment - na sasagot sa tanong na What if I live too long? Who will take care of me?
PAY IT FORWARD.
