Learning How Radar Is Used ๐ค๐ง๐ค
Did you know that scientists use radar to explore new terrains without actually setting foot on them? It's pretty amazing! By using radar, they were able to identify the mountains, hills, and flat areas within a box and even pinpoint the best spots to land a spacecraft. How cool is that? ๐งโ๐ฌ๐ฉโ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฉโ๐ป๐งโ๐ป
Let's talk about making some lava! ๐๐๐ So, imagine the plate of butter as a rock. At first, it's all solid, but when we heat it, it melts and turns into a liquid, just like rocks do when they're heated up inside a planet.๐ฅ๐ฅต And when we let the plate cool down, ๐๐๐ the butter becomes solid again, just like lava that comes out of a volcano and hardens into rock after a while. ๐ค๐ง๐ค
Have you ever wondered how spacecraft are designed to withstand extreme heat during launch and re-entry? ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅต It's a fascinating process that involves advanced materials and technologies, as well as careful planning. Building a spacecraft that can stand up to intense temperatures is no small feat, but it's essential for a successful mission. Let's dive into the world of spacecraft engineering and learn more about the amazing work that goes into creating these incredible machines!

Exploring the idea of applying pressure to understand its concept. ๐ค๐ง๐ค
Making a Model of Mercury out of dough: this is a great activity to try out if you're feeling crafty. You can create your model of Mercury using dough! ๐คฉ๐คฉ๐คฉ
Understanding Shadows and Temperature: it's fascinating to learn about how shadows and temperature work together, isn't it?
Making Craters: did you know that Mercury has a lot of craters due to the impacts of asteroids? This is because it doesn't have an atmosphere to protect it. It's pretty amazing that Mercury's largest crater, Caloris Basin, is as big as Texas! What's even more amazing is that the shockwave from the collision was so powerful that it created a hilly region the size of Germany and France on the opposite side of the planet! โ๏ธ๐ช๐ฐ๏ธ๐๐ค๐งโ๐
Imagine embarking on a thrilling planetary mission journey! ๐คฉ๐คฉ๐คฉ But before engineers can even begin to design a robot,๐ค๐พ they must first identify the mission that it will undertake. They meticulously plan out the work that the robot will need to accomplish, ๐ค๐ง๐ค breaking it down into specific, exciting steps that will lead to an unforgettable adventure in the great unknown depths of space!! ๐งโ๐๐ซ๐ชโ๏ธ๐๐ฐ๏ธ๐ญ
We are thrilled to share with you the list of outstanding little Bereans for the first quarter of the academic year 2023-2024.

It's amazing to think that two thousand years ago, a savior was born to die for our sins, giving us the most significant and joyful celebration in the world. ๐๐คฑ๐ฅณ๐ This event fills our hearts with hope ๐ and brings light ๐ to the world that was darkened by sin ๐. God became flesh so that He could redeem us from sin and death โ๏ธ. This reminds us of the power of His love and grace that overcomes our brokenness and how important it is to spread the joy of the gospel to those around us๐. By teaching our children ๐ค the true meaning of this holiday season๐ฅฐ๐, they can share the love and happiness that it brings with every person they meet ๐ซ. And, of course, they can now wholeheartedly and joyfully say, 'Merry Christmas' to everyone!๐๐โ๐๐ถ๐ ๐ฆ๐ท๐ช๐

A group of amazing senior high school students from Valenzuela School of Mathematics and Science recently helped our little Bereans construct their very own solar eclipse viewer box. It was awesome to see the students generously volunteering their time to make the learning experience informative and fun for our students. We are truly grateful for their kind and benevolent assistance. Thank you po mga ate and Happy Birthday ate Jhaymie!๐ฅณ๐ - from our little Berean students!! ๐ฅฐ๐๐ค๐ค๐ค
Did you know that sometimes the Moon comes in between the Sun and Earth? When this happens, the Moon blocks the light of the Sun from reaching Earth, causing a solar eclipse. It's a pretty amazing sight to see!

The Color of God's Love.
C.S. Lewis was a very influential writer. He once said, "I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen, not because I see it, but because by it I see everything else."
Our little Bereans were very enthusiastic about their recent science lesson on prisms. They were fascinated to discover how prisms create a beautiful array of colors. What's even more exciting is that they also learned how to create a rainbow! They were amazed by the intricate details of how colors form and interact with light and other elements. This subject has left them buzzing with excitement, and they can't wait to learn more!

Fun fact - when an object goes around another object in a circular path, it's called orbiting. This means it's kind of like revolving around that object. Did you know that planets not only orbit the sun but also spin on their axis at the same time? This spinning action is known as rotating. So, planets are doing two things at once - rotating and revolving around the sun. Pretty cool, right? ๐ซ๐๐ค๐ซ
Did you know that reading is an amazing way to gain new knowledge, discover new horizons, and unlock endless possibilities? So let's embrace the power of reading and set off on a journey of exploration today little bereans!! Keep reading, keep exploring, and let the world amaze you with its wonders! ๐๐๐ค๐๐๐๐
Thankyou Freya, Rain, Terrence, Primo, Xavi, Franck, Mori, Althea, Yael, MM and Liam!! ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
As part of the National Reading Month celebration, students gave speeches to their peers to educate them about the sun. It was an exciting activity that allowed them to research and write about the harmful effects of looking directly at the sun. They also discovered interesting facts about the sun that they shared with their audience. ๐๐๐ค๐๐๐๐

These kids are enthusiastic and curious, eager to discover the endless possibilities that technology has to offer. ๐ค๐
Understanding Distance and Size.
Why does the sun seem small in the sky if it is so much bigger than Earth? Shouldn't it look big to us since we are tiny in comparison?
๐๐ค๐ฅธ๐ต๏ธ๐ค๐
Did you know that you can take a magnifying glass out into the sunlight and concentrate its energy? ๐ฅธ๐ค๐ต๏ธ Guess what! You have a lens just like a magnifying glass in your eyes.๐๐ณ
The sun's light is so powerful that it isn't safe to look at the sun. So, never look directly at the sun! ๐๐๐๐ตโ๐ซ
Stirring the growth of children in their knowledge of God from an early age is crucial. By teaching them about God, we can provide them with a foundation for their spiritual growth and development. As the famous proverb states, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will never depart from it". Making these values clear and concrete in children can help them navigate the complexities of life with a strong moral compass.
