Learning How Radar Is Used 🤔🧐🤓

Did you know that scientists use radar to explore new terrains without actually setting foot on them? It's pretty amazing! By using radar, they were able to identify the mountains, hills, and flat areas within a box and even pinpoint the best spots to land a spacecraft. How cool is that? 🧑‍🔬👩‍🔬🌐🌐👩‍💻🧑‍💻

Let's talk about making some lava! 🌋🌋🌋 So, imagine the plate of butter as a rock. At first, it's all solid, but when we heat it, it melts and turns into a liquid, just like rocks do when they're heated up inside a planet.🔥🥵 And when we let the plate cool down, 🌀🌀🌀 the butter becomes solid again, just like lava that comes out of a volcano and hardens into rock after a while. 🤔🧐🤓

Making Craters: did you know that Mercury has a lot of craters due to the impacts of asteroids? This is because it doesn't have an atmosphere to protect it. It's pretty amazing that Mercury's largest crater, Caloris Basin, is as big as Texas! What's even more amazing is that the shockwave from the collision was so powerful that it created a hilly region the size of Germany and France on the opposite side of the planet! ☄️🪐🛰️🚀🤖🧑‍🚀

It's amazing to think that two thousand years ago, a savior was born to die for our sins, giving us the most significant and joyful celebration in the world. 🌌🤱🥳🎁 This event fills our hearts with hope 🙏 and brings light 🌟 to the world that was darkened by sin 🌑. God became flesh so that He could redeem us from sin and death ✝️. This reminds us of the power of His love and grace that overcomes our brokenness and how important it is to spread the joy of the gospel to those around us📖. By teaching our children 🤓 the true meaning of this holiday season🥰💝, they can share the love and happiness that it brings with every person they meet 🫂. A group of amazing senior high school students from Valenzuela School of Mathematics and Science recently helped our little Bereans construct their very own solar eclipse viewer box. It was awesome to see the students generously volunteering their time to make the learning experience informative and fun for our students. Did you know that sometimes the Moon comes in between the Sun and Earth? When this happens, the Moon blocks the light of the Sun from reaching Earth, causing a solar eclipse. It's a pretty amazing sight to see!

The Color of God's Love.

C.S. Lewis was a very influential writer. He once said, "I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen, not because I see it, but because by it I see everything else."

Our little Bereans were very enthusiastic about their recent science lesson on prisms. They were fascinated to discover how prisms create a beautiful array of colors. What's even more exciting is that they also learned how to create a rainbow! They were amazed by the intricate details of how colors form and interact with light and other elements. This subject has left them buzzing with excitement, and they can't wait to learn more!

Fun fact - when an object goes around another object in a circular path, it's called orbiting. This means it's kind of like revolving around that object. Did you know that planets not only orbit the sun but also spin on their axis at the same time? This spinning action is known as rotating. So, planets are doing two things at once - rotating and revolving around the sun. Pretty cool, right? 💫😎🤓💫
