Dear Grade 7 Aspirants:

Bulacan State University is pleased to open its Online Application for Grade 7 for School Year 2024-2025.

Please be informed that interested applicants may access the BulSU Online Application starting on June 03, 2024 (Monday) until June 14, 2024 (Friday).

General Guidelines in the Admission of Grade 7

A. Grade 7 Regular Class

1. Applicants who obtained a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 88 and above and have NO GRADES LOWER than 85 in ALL SUBJECTS during Grade 6 are qualified to apply for admission to Grade 7.

B. Special Science Class (Science, Technology and Engineering Program)

2. Applicants with a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 90 and above with NO GRADES LOWER than 90 in SCIENCE, ENGLISH, and MATHEMATICS and NO GRADES LOWER than 87 in ALL GRADING PERIOD.

Please be informed that Successful Applicants must submit the complete hard copy of the required documents at the University Admission and Orientation Services Office on their appointment schedule

1. Certified true Copy of Grade 6 report card from 1st - 4th Grading period (Form 138)
2. Certified true copy of Proof of Residency (Barangay Certification)
3. Certified true copy of Certification or ID of the following if APPLICABLE:
3.1 Member of an Indigenous Cultural Community (ICC)/ Indigenous
People (IP)- Membership Certification/Barangay-issued Certificate
3.2. Member of Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program (4Ps)- Membership
Certification/ Barangay-issued Certificate)
3.3. Student with Special Needs (SSN) and Other Types of Disabilities Membership Certificate/ Identification Card
3.4. Child of Solo Parent- (Solo Parent ID)
3.5. With Exemplary Artistic and Athletic Ability- Certification from the Heads of the School

3. Confirmed applicants will be given a schedule for their Admission Assessment test and a face-to-face interview schedule on their registered email address. Likewise, please make sure that the email address you will be using for the application is valid and active to receive notifications and updates regarding your application.

Note: All applicant-related records and documents will be disposed of six (6) months after the release of qualifiers

C. Grounds for Disqualification of Application.
1. Misrepresentation of the information entered in any of the submitted forms (including but not limited to the application portal).
2. Violation of the application instructions.
3. Non-submission of documents as scheduled.

Project GAMES (Getting Acquainted with Meaningful Educational Skills) for Numeracy is a collaborative extension activity focused on developing numeracy skills through engaging games. This initiative is spearheaded by Dr. Rafael Dayao and Ma'am Esther Domingo, alongside the dedicated CoEd Faculty, stakeholders, and students from the BEEd and BECEd Department, under the leadership of Mr. Joel Faustino. This was held on the 7th Floor, E-Bulacan State University Library, on May 17, 2024, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
The project’s success is also attributed to the generous contributions of sponsors and the active participation of Child Development Workers in the entire City of Malolos in partnership with the PSWDO.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the BulSU Administration, CoEd Local Administration, Mrs. Lolit Santos (CSWD), Ms. Nadine De Ocampo (PSWDO), Mr. Manding Angeles (CoEd-PTA), Mr. Joshua Sandoval (JCI-Malolos), and our teacher-partners Mrs. Remy Menes, Mrs. Cordella Puno Ramos, and Mrs. Carmelita Puno Corpuz, for their unwavering support.

PAFTE Region 3 Pre-service Teachers Annual Assembly

THEME: Transcending Teacher Education Training into the DepEd MATATAG Curriculum

On April 3, 2024, the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE) Region III held a seminar for future teachers at Holy Angel University in Pampanga. Our college’s graduating students had the privilege of attending this seminar virtually, streamed live at the Amphitheater located on the 7th Floor of the BulSU E-library. This year’s seminar is themed “Transcending Teacher Education Training into the DepEd MATATAG Curriculum,” reflecting our commitment to aligning teacher education with the latest advancements in the Department of Education’s curriculum.

Esteemed experts from various educational organizations convened to discuss contemporary trends, policies, and challenges within the Philippine Basic Education system. The panel of distinguished resource speakers included Dr. Lora L. Yusi, Director IV of the Commission on Higher Education – Regional Office III; Dr. Jocelyn D. Andaya, Director at the Department of Education; Mr. Paul H. Aban, Director at the Professional Regulatory Commission; and Dr. Runvi V. Manguerra, Executive Director of the Teacher Education Council.

Dr. Teody C. San Andres, our loving university President, graced the COED students with his presence, imparting inspiring words of encouragement and reaffirming his unwavering support for their academic journey.

During the flag-raising ceremony held on January 22, 2024, our very own alumna, Ms. Jolina Camua Ponce, LPT, was recognized for her exceptional performance in the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LEPT).
