𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳,

Have you felt a sparking longing to go back in time just from seeing an old picture?

As soon as I picked up my phone after working on a project, I was greeted with another "storage is full" notification. Have you felt frustrated receiving this reminder? Because I do. It feels like I'm back to square one, as I, too, had just not long ago deleted a few pictures.

With no choices left, I started clearing them out in my phone gallery. As I was too focused on deleting more photos with the thought 'It will take a longer time before the storage is full again,' I stumbled upon a few memories of me during my pandemic days.

I stared at the pictures for a while. Is it really years after this was taken? A wave of emotions overwhelms me. I remember it clearly as if it were yesterday.

Seeing photos of me during online classes brought back so many reminders of what had passed. Nostalgia struck quickly. Remembering the times when my teacher would say that our moving-up graduation would be just around the corner. I didn't get it back then, but I realized now that it was a way of telling us to enjoy life, to find the joy left before meeting the end of our journey.

Why do I feel so uneasy? Am I afraid? Afraid to face the fact that the future is drawing nearer. It's hard to believe that photo was captured years ago.

I think I've scrolled too far back to my gallery as I found pictures of the younger me. Little me was sticking out a smiley pose while my childhood friends did the same, captured in an old gadget, the time when we didn't have to worry about big things.

I wish that I could freeze the picture and let them stay in the time when the days were simpler, when worrying about ourselves was far into the future. While I can't turn back time, even like flipping an hourglass, I can't help but wish to relive it again.

Looking back on my cherished moments, it did improve who I am today. Nostalgia always has its way of wrapping up to me, pulling me back to the moments when the days were trivial and lighter.

Time flies so fast, doesn't it? Our memories serve as a reminder for us. Even if time plays its funny tricks once again, we're now stronger than before, with our experiences and lessons that have shaped us into the person we are today.

How far have we been since we made those memories? We have grown so much. We were once naive and now hold wisdom. Everything we've experienced guides us for the future.

We may miss the past, but we mustn't dwell on them too much. Let's not forget to move forward and continue to make new memories. Well, why don't we capture some now?
