The JRU Central Student Council, in collaboration with the JRU Community Development Office, The Journal, and the Recognized Student Organizations urgently calls upon the Rizalian community to step up, and answer in the call of Bayanihan.

We are seeking your help through monetary and in-kind donations which will go directly to Kaya Natin! Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership and Angat Buhay, ensuring transparent and meaningful assistance.

Let us all channel our inner Taos-Pusong Rizal spirit as we come together in the spirit of BayaniRizalian by providing essential needs and hope for our kababayans that are severely affected by Typhoon .

ICYMI: On September 20, 2024, the 30th Mass Induction of the José Rizal University Central Student Council, The Journal, and Recognized Student Organizations took place at the Centennial Auditorium, with the theme "𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙙: 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙜𝙚𝙨, 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨." The ceremony celebrated not just the induction of new Rizalian Student Leaders and their vision of a unified, progressive, and empowered Rizalian community, highlighting the role of students in shaping the future of the university through genuine leadership and service.

The 30th Mass Induction was graced by the presence of Dr. Miguel M. Carpio, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Mrs. Hiromi M. Lascano, Director of the Student Development Office; Deans Dr. Allan F. Galvez, Dr. Maria Dulce Mangibin, Lt. Dr. Don Vicente Real, Dr. Tessie R. Da Jose, Engr. Liza R. Reyes, Dr. Kathleen G. Apilado; College Department Chairs; esteemed members and staff of the University and the academe; Campus Organization Advisers; and Rizalian Student Leaders.

Key event highlight involves Recognized Student Leaders and Advisers who took their pledge to remain loyal to student representation and to commit to serving with the highest standards of responsibility, consideration, courtesy, and integrity. They vowed to uphold the ideals of service and to contribute to the advancement, interests, and welfare of their organizations, the Rizalian community, and the University, always with dignity and decency.

Following the inspiring momentum, the 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 30𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. The pin, donned by each leader, symbolized their commitment to real and meaningful change. This transformative effort emphasizes the rebranding and reinventing of the Rizalian student leadership. It urged them to step forward boldly, with ambition and fearlessness in the pursuit of justice, equity, and progress. This symbolic gesture transcended the superficial—it embodied the shared Rizalian values of inclusivity, progress, and service to the greater good.

The event continued with the accreditation of Recognized Student Organizations, and recognition of the official student publication, The Journal, and the highest student governing body, the JRU Central Student Council, which were prominently acknowledged during the ceremony. This recognition underscored their indispensable role in fostering a vibrant and dynamic student body at José Rizal University. These organizations not only promote student engagement and inclusivity but also serve as vital platforms for progress, collaboration, and leadership.

The 30th Mass Induction was far more than a formal event; 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆. It served as a powerful reminder of the untapped potential within the youth. It showcased how student leaders, driven by a vision of a brighter future, are instrumental in transforming that vision into reality. By embracing their roles with renewed vigor and responsibility, the Rizalian student leaders signaled a commitment not only to their peers but also to the entire Rizalian community.

Concluding the event, acceptance and closing remarks were delivered by Mr. Jake E. Fabon, the 30th President of the JRU Central Student Council, where his words resonated deeply with everyone in attendance. His words, filled with determination and vision, emphasized the JRU-CSC’s commitment to inclusivity, accountability, empowerment, and transformative leadership. He declared the council’s unwavering focus on “Building Bridges and Fortifying Progress,” a pledge to strengthen connections within and beyond the university, and lead the student body toward a brighter, transformed, better future.

The 30th Mass Induction Ceremony served as a powerful reminder of our shared dedication to servant leadership and the principles that define us as Rizalians. As the newly inducted members step into their roles, they bear the responsibility to promote unity, inspire transformation, and spark enthusiasm within the Rizalian community. Together, let us move forward as one Rizalian community, where our actions reflect our unwavering dedication to integrity, service, and the empowerment of our fellow students and the growth of our collective experience.
