If you're considering working from home, you've probably thought about how you'll set up your office. You've probably even gone to the store and bought a few things to get started—but that's not enough.

You need to know what works and what doesn't, so here are some tips:

#1: Make sure that the furniture is comfortable for long hours of sitting and make sure your desk is clean and organized.

#2: You should be able to see your phone when you're sitting at your desk or table.

#3: If possible, make sure there are no distractions in the room—no TVs, no bookshelves with open doors, etc.

#4: The space should feel warm and inviting—not like an airport terminal or a doctor's waiting room!

Check these tips for decorating small spaces!
• Find furniture that can be folded or has multiple uses
• Light up! Having right lighting across the room. Use additional lighting throughout the room to offer some extra warmth.
• Consider using mirrors. Mirrors add the illusion of bigger space and additional light.
• Be inventive with storage. Many awesome storage choices out there that serves as lovely pieces of décor.
• Use large carpets. It allows a sense of beauty and the feeling of a bigger room
• Freshen up with plants/flowers. Adding these can add extra life to your space as long as it’s not crowded.
• Lastly, less is more! Avoid clutter.
