ADVISORY

28 April 2024 - In view of the latest heat index forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and the announcement of a nationwide transport strike, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 29 and 30, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled, provided that measures for the safety of all participants have been carefully considered.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

This is due to the forecasted danger heat index level of 44°C according to the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.

Schools are advised to shift to asynchronous classes.

This is due to the forecasted danger heat index level of 43°C according to the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.

Schools are advised to shift to asynchronous classes.

In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects, and other requirements as the end of school year is fast-approaching, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 15-16, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

ANNOUNCEMENT: In line with the Division Memorandum No.140 s.2024, Mitigation Measures in Schools Relative to the High Heat Index, Manuel A. Roxas High School will be following the Schedule posted below.

Students will be reporting on the days they are scheduled for face-to-face classes from 6:00 am to 10:30. Add-on subjects for Special Science sections and SPFL sections will be held from 10:30 to 12:00 noon.

Please be guided accordingly.

Congratulations to the student journalists of the recently concluded Division Schools Press Conference 2024 for Radio Scriptwriting and Broadcasting contest.

Out of 18 group-participants from Manila, the English broadcast team of The Wheel earned 5th Best Overall Group and 4th Best Script, and 2nd Best Infomercial.

The 7-man team of The Wheel is composed of:
